I really wonder why on the login page the language is mainly in German? The defauilt pot. file is in the plugin language folder, and I also scanned the string files with wpml. So all strings of the um plugin are available in English and could be translated. Still, instead of i.e. “Username or Mail” or on the buttons “Sign in – register” I get the German language.
Any idea?
Thank you!!!

I got a bunch of errors, as an example…
'39661-40045' => ['prev' => 39661, 'next' => 40045, 'comments' => [0 => class Peast\Syntax\Token { ... }, 1 => class Peast\Syntax\Token { ... }, 2 => class Peast\Syntax\Token { ... }, 3 => class Peast\Syntax\Token { ... }, 4 => class Peast\Syntax\Token { ... }]],
and..

Those kind of lines massively, any idea what’s going on?
BTW I know that my code it’s not the problem because I can generate the myDomain.pot file with qsandbox tool online, but would like to know how to configure wp-cli to get the desire result if it’s possible.
]]>I am so far very happy with your plugin. The csv import function works like a charm and makes updating entries very easy once you’re bit familliar whith it. Great!
But I have problems finding where to translate some specific strings.
I have already tried it with POedit but didn’t found the 3 strings I am searching for.
I want to translate/change the following 3 strings:
1:
A predefined string in the search-text-field says: “Eintrag dauerhaft ausführen”
It instead should say something like “input your search term”…
Where can I change this string?
2:
Whithin each single entry it says “? Go back” at the top like a breadcrump.
Where can I change this string?
3:
Also at single entries a button says “Return to directory”.
Where can I change this string?
Please be so kind to tell me where to change this 3 strings!
Thanks a lot for your help!
Kind regards,
Christian
]]>I tried to edit the .pot file for translation, but no changes are visible on the website. How can i solve this problem ?
For exemple:
This code (default version):
#: Includes/Action.php:156 Includes/Page.php:492 Includes/Shortcode.php:169
msgid “My Settings”
msgstr “”
Replace with (translate version):
#: Includes/Action.php:156 Includes/Page.php:492 Includes/Shortcode.php:169
msgid “Setari”
msgstr “”
I fully translated this plugin into Czech language using the .pot file found in your plugin folder. Now, I am confused, where should I put my .po and .mo files.
If you want, I can provide you with my translation so you will be able to use it in your plugin for all the users.
Kind regards,
Simon C.
for the expression “continue reading” – to translate. But it is not in this pot-file.
Where I find the right pot-file for translating in German?
Thanks.
]]>I only found one quite old link about this subject: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/2051. However, it seems that Woocommerce (I never used it) do not longer implement the solution given in that post.
Splitting pot file is quite tricky:
– we must generate 2 pot files from different files and folders (need some custom makepotfile.php)
– but some strings are used in both admin and frontend part (how to remove duplicate string from one pot file)
– we must load one or both files while running the plugin (this seems easy)
Here are my questions:
– is there any recommendations for splitting pot file in WordPress plugin?
– is there an open source plugin implementing such a feature (I could base my work on this one)?
Regards to the WordPress community.
