after a couple of time (one or 2 weeks) the Pre-Order Status goes to canceled without a reason. Is this an WooCommerce option? We dont find any reason in logs or anywhere.
Thx

]]>We currently offer pre-orders for sale on our site.
We also offer free shipping for orders over $120.
However, if the order is comprised of (for example):
1 x pre-order $90
1 x regular item $40
They will automatically receive free shipping as their order qualifies.
However, we will have to ship the items separately as the pre-order may be weeks away from arriving. This means we pay for two lots of shipping. Currently this is a cost that we absorb, but it is not viable to continue this in the long run.
I would like to know what plugin/upgrade options are available to us, to help solve this issue?
Ideally, in the above scenario, we would like to give the user the two options:
a) Ship items separately and pay for shipping for each delivery; or
b) Wait for the pre-order items to arrive and ship together to receive free shipping
In some cases, one or both of the deliveries may qualify for free shipping anyway, eg:
Delivery 1:
2 x pre-order item ($90 each) $180
Free Shipping
Delivery 2:
1 x regular item $40
Shipping $5
Also, to complicate matters, we have multiple pre-orders that will have different release / arrival dates. So we would want deliveries split based into more than two if possible:
Delivery 1:
1 x Preorder A $90
Shipping $5
Delivery 2:
2 x Preorder B ($75 each) $150
Free shipping
Delivery 3:
2 x Regular item ($40 each) $80
Shipping $5
Would love to know if something like this is possible and which plugins / upgrades we would need to achieve this.
Alternatively, if this is not something that can be done with a plugin, I’m wondering if we can add a couple of product fields (maybe pre-order boolean, arrival date datetime) and restrict what can be added to the basket so that users are forced to purchase pre-order items in separate orders?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Emily
Seems like someone else had a bad experience. Hope they have a backup.
I updated the plugin and change the what the next number should be in the settings and worked fine after that.
Seems to be good with: WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips
Glad I didn’t have ‘Enable to apply the above format for all existing orders’ checked. Phew.
]]>My service date options were working yesterday, after the update the option seems to have an error in it. All of my settings are placed so that the bulk of my orders are pre-orders for Thurs/Fri/Sat. The only time slot available Sun-Weds is 8:00am-8:30am as the store is not fully functional those days.
For some reason this morning, people are now able to order for tonight (Wednesday) from 4:00pm-8:00pm which is only my settings for Thurs/Fri/Sat, and the pre-order days do not show up on the drop down. (time slot interval / store timing add on)
Some help with this as quickly as possible would be appreciated as the window for our weekend orders is growing smaller! Thanks!

so i have a client im currently implementing a woocommerce system for and im using the preorder addition to the site as a lot of what he sells is on preorder basis. Now apparently he says its unusual for him to be able to give 100% reliable release dates for products so i need to change it to an estimated arrival. Now the issue is, even if i do the obvious and alter the front end text, it has no effect on the back end functionality [obviously], and he wont want the product to start acting like a normal product when the date is reached if its not available yet, or if he needs it to stop being a preorder early. Currently once an item is set to preorder, and people start ordering that item, you are unable to switch it to a normal product without completing or cancelling current orders on that product. Is there anyway around this? ive tested putting orders into different statuses for the preorders [partial payment/on hold etc] but they must be completed or cancelled.
I relalise that you can alter the release date, but i want to try and avoid a potential situation when he has to send out multiple emails with the change of date.

If i disable the Flamingo plugin everything works great.
Can you please check it out?
