I would then receive a key to activate the premium service. But I never got it. Only message that the account could not be activated.
Since then, I haven’t had a response from MailPoet. I have made 3 separate support requests and all without any response except an automatic one.
I understand that this is not the right place to report it. But I do not know how else I can get in touch with MailPoet itself. They have no chat or phone number.
The support requests are related to the same mail address as related to this account.
Please help me. Thank you. I know that MailPoet is monitoring this forum.
]]>Your website used to promise that your website wouldn’t break if you stopped paying. It doesn’t say that anymore. Instead it says that the annual license fee includes “1 year of updates and support”. What exactly does this mean?
The FAQ on the bottom of your pricing page reads:
Q: What do updates include?
A: Updates include new and improved features, performance enhancements, security patches, and bug fixes.
What the heck does that actually mean?
Our org’s wordpress site is configured with WP_HTTP_BLOCK_EXTERNAL
to prevent wordpress from being able to initiate queries to the internet (for security). We do all our updates manually.
You have a section on your documentation for “Manually updating,” but it doesn’t say what you need to update.
Of course, the GeneratePress theme is open-source and available on GitHub, SVN, and this website (www.ads-software.com). So I should be able to download updates for the theme itself forever. Is that correct? Or do you use a distinct theme for premium customers?
What about plugins? Is there any plugins that require updating? Is it just one plugin? Several plugins?
If I purchase this theme, I want to fully understand exactly what I’ll be able to update forever and exactly what I won’t be able to update forever (what might break on the site) if we can’t pay to renew our annual license.
Please fully enumerate every file that needs to be downloaded when updating the premium versions of GeneratePress.
]]>I work for a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the US. We are looking at buying a theme for our websites. GeneratePress is on our radar, especially because your documentation lists that your users have the option to upgrade to a lifetime license.
As a non-profit, we do not have a steady revenue of donations. We’re frequently in the red, and it’s very important to us to keep our expenses down. We cannot afford to buy a theme that’s going to incur yearly costs forever, especially if our site is going to break if we stop paying.
Can you please tell us if GeneratePress offers any discounts for NGOs?
]]>Your documentation page says it’s still possible
If you already own a yearly license key, you can choose to upgrade to our lifetime plan in your account.

This conflicts with some other information I’ve seen on your website.
Is the above documentation page correct? Or is it false advertising?
]]>Q: Will my website break if I don’t renew my license key?
A: No, your website will remain intact. Once you purchase GP Premium, you own it for life and are free to use it for as long as you like. The only difference is support and updates

That no longer appears on the live Pricing page.
My organization is considering purchasing a license for GeneratePress, but we want to know if these changes mean that our site will now break if we don’t renew our license key.
Please let us know if we’ll continue to be able to download updates if we don’t renew, or if the website will eventually break.
]]>There is a site for the client that doesn’t have the premium version of the plugin. They need to create the coupon that will email the code or url with the message to the customer they can now use the coupon because they spent x amount in previous shopping. Is this possible with the premium version of this plugin?
Thanks,
Vladimir
