I cannot find the Pressrow theme in www.ads-software.com but I did find it in WordPress.com and started a test blog: https://donttellmetocheerup.wordpress.com
I love the Pressrow layout. But for the life of me I can’t find it within www.ads-software.com where I have www.camilaprada.com
Can anybody pls help? If there is another theme like it, I’ll take that.
Thank you,
Camila.
By default, it displays the Date and Title for each Post,
but it doesn’t display the Author.
We would like to display the Author below the Title.
What is the best/easiest way to make this change when the blog is hosted on WordPress.com? (I realized if I was hosting the blog on my own server, I could edit the PressRow theme files …)
Is there a Plugin that we could activate on WordPress.com that would solve this problem?
any suggestions would be much appreciated,
David Jones
I’m VERY new to this blogging and website thing – so I really don’t know anything. I have the pressrow 0.1 theme for my blog. On the homepage of my blog, “archives” and “about” pages show up. They were there when I activated the theme. However, I do not have those pages on my dashboard. I want an “about” page but not an “archives” page because I don’t know how to do that. How to I get rid of that archives page if it’s not showing up on my dashboard? Or if I can’t get rid of the page on the blog, how do I set up an archives page?
Thank you for your help!!!!
I’m so new to this, and having a very hard time understanding how to do a lot. I have the pressrow 0.1 by Chris Pearson theme. On my homepage, there are three pages listed, two of which I did not create on my dashboard. I’m trying to figure out how to get rid of the “archives” page. I can’t delete it from my dashboard, because I never created the page. It was automatically there when I installed the theme.
Second, when people go to comment, it takes them to my “about” page and they are unable to comment.
any help would be so much appreciated – I’m about to give up!
Thanks!
I have been searching but have had no success.
All I need to do is add one product page and get the archive page working.
with the archive page i get a 404 and the product page does not show up at all.

I have searched the support forum as best I can, and general online searches, and not found the answer. Is there somewhere else the photo needs to be uploaded? I uploaded to the site/wp-admin/images folder and it doesn’t seem to be the right place.
Thanks for any help!
P.S. I am not a software programmer nor do I want to become one
P.P.S. Yeah, I know, there are abt 1999 other themes available, but I got hooked on Pressrow. Silly me
<?php
/*
Template Name: CreateAndSubmit
*/
?>
<?php include(‘header_about.php’); ?>

<?php if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>
<div class=”post”id=”post <?php
the_ID(); ?>”>
<h2 style=”padding-top: 0;”><?php
the_title(); ?>

<?php the_content(‘
Read the rest of this page »
’); ?>
<?php
link_pages(‘
Pages: ‘, ‘
’, ‘number’); ?>

<?php endwhile; endif; ?>

<?php get_sidebar(); ?>

<?php get_footer(); ?>
PS – If you’ve answered this question a million times before, I apologize.

THE PROBLEM
—————————-
My host offers an “automatic installation” of WordPress (awesome!) and installs dozens of themes as part of the basic set-up (also awesome!). To keep things clean, I like to go through & delete all the themes that I’m not using; but some themes cannot be deleted — specifically: Artemerging, Copyblogger and Pressrow (not awesome).
Whenever one attempts to delete them, a “Directory Not Empty” error is displayed & the folders remain.
—————————-
THE SOLUTION
—————————-
To be able to delete these, you need to force your FTP software to show hidden files (most will be default, but some corrupted files still won’t show – so the software has to be forced to display them anyways).
In my example, each of the above themes had hidden .DS-STORE files that kept them from being deleted.
I hope that this saves you a few hours if, like me, you’ve been attempting to keep your directory listings nice & clean.
Tried both header-image rotator theme and random-image-selector themes. Cannot seem to locate the CSS ID for PressRow (I would have thought the IS is PressRow as the image-rotator plugin offered that solution but just reverted it back to the image from pressRow, not the header-images folder I created in the uploads folder. The second rotator just re-sized the text, but did not update the image. That’s when I went to Pearsonified and got the PressRow update.
Yet again, WordPress documentation is less than lucid, and not kind to those of us who are not scripting gurus. I can get CSS and HTML, but the php crap drives be dippy. Please help!!!
