Hi,

“Previously used keyphrase: You’ve used this keyphrase 2 times before. Do not use your keyphrase more than once.”

I’m seeing about 30 pages that are starting to show that a “Previously used keyphrase” error appears with a never before the used key phrase.

for example:

Issue Previously used Keyphrase after last Update

After last update of Yaost Seo Plugin I have the following problem:

Previously used keyphrase: You’ve used this keyphrase 2 times before. Do not use your keyphrase more than once.

My Website is only 1 landing page which is manually translated to 5 different languages using Polylang plugin. And of course I am using the same keyword. After the last update I have the above mentioned problem and I think that the issue is from the Yoast plugin which cannot detect that the website is multilingual.
Any Idea how to fix it?

Hi,

On my website I use a default twenty sixteen theme. I have default AMP plugin by amp.dev. The problem I am facing is whenever I try to update the AMP plugin any version above 1.3.0 in my Yoast SEO I get Previously used keyphrase error in all my posts and pages. If I downgrade the AMP plugin to version 1.3.0 the error vanishes. Can you please help?

I’m seeing about 30 pages that are starting to show that a “Previously used keyphrase” error appears with never before used key phrase.

For example the noted page

keyphase is Commercial Fishing Bills

It has never been used before yet is showing:

“Previously used keyphrase: You’ve used this keyphrase 2 times before. Do not use your keyphrase more than once.”

Thus the SEO is messed up.

I’ve had an issue with Yoast through several updates where I have a focus keyphrase set for a page, but the “Previously used keyphrase” warning shows and degrades the score of this page to amber from green.

Where it says “you’ve used this keyphrase once before.” – the link just loops back to the page I’m currently editing! There are no other pages using this focus keyphrase.

To resolve this I have to remove the focus keyphrase, save, add it back in and then save. The page then scores green until I make any subsequent amendment to that page and save again, at which point the issue reappears.

This is a problem on multiple pages.
