Can’t click top level menu items when they have children

I recently noticed that top level items in the primary navigation menu that have a dropdown menu are no longer are clickable. Hovering over the top level item reveals the dropdown as intended, and the URL of the item appears in the bottom of the browser window when clicked on, but the link is disabled.

I have three sites using Kadence theme (v1.1.12) and they all have this issue. All are using a child theme. Two of them are over a year old and I don’t remember this behavior. Is it a bug or an intended change?

I’d like to change the search icon font-weight to bold but I noticed that regular CSS isn’t working since it’s SVG, so is there a way around this. I want its font-weight exactly to be 500;
So can you help me with this issue?

If this theme is used and the primary menu is not included, in file assets/js/primary-navigation.js, on line 170 the error will be generated:

Cannot read property 'querySelectorAll' of null

It should be checked first if the #site-navigation menu exists

Remove/re-style caret in dropdown menu

Blimey, for a theme that was supposedly designed to make child themes easy, this theme is extremely complicated!

Does anyone know how I can restyle or remove the caret displayed at the top of dropdown sub-menus? All I want to do is change its colour. I can’t even work out how/where it’s being inserted in the first place.

Center Sticky Nav Logo

Hello,

I’ve set up the main navigation with a centered logo and menu items on either side, and would like the sticky navigation to have the same layout, but it’s currently appearing with the logo on the left and a gap where the Menu Item Separator is.

Are there options to change this within the theme? I’ve tried adding some CSS rules, but I’ve had no luck.

Desktop Dropdown Menu Too Tall

Good Afternoon!

I am currently experiencing an issue on my website where if the Navigation Label of a drop-down menu is longer then so many characters will cause the > icon to break position and make the label too tall in comparison to the other menu items.

I will attach a screenshot of what I am talking about for your reference:

I was just wondering why this was and how I can fix it?

In the meantime, I have been able to fix the issue by simply reducing the number of characters in the label. Here is a screenshot to show you what I mean:

This quick fix is acceptable in this case ( the word and was replaced with an & ), however, I fear that in the future we will have navigation labels that cannot be shortened and will cause odd-looking drop down menus.

Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advanced!

Also on a sidenote:
We purchased Generate Press Premium a few years ago under the emaill address [email protected], how ever I do not have access to his forum account so I was not able to post my question there.

Hello.

Is there a way I can have the primary navigation placed under the site identity logo above the bottom border? Also, can I have it fixed to that location so it doesn’t overlap the content and scroll with the page?

I want to have my menu at the top of each page, like in the Twenty Sixteen theme. How can I do this in GeneratePress?
I have Menu Plus installed but could only see how to put a vertical menu in header widget region. I want a horizontal menu a the very top of each page.
