We used to see ‘Privacy Policy’ in the footer. But recently we noticed that Privacy page has disappeared from the bottom footer.

What to do?

We can open and edit but not save the privacy policy page in the block eidtor with this plugin.

Cookiebar can show a privacy page link and an URL to privacy page can be provided.
In recent WordPress the privacy page is now a page (post) state,
the privacy page can be globally set up in WordPress settings.
Also Cookiebar should show the right link, depending on translation, when a translation plugin like Polylang is used and the privacy page is available in multiple languages.

I have enabled a consent box for privacy, following the directions you sent to me. I put a link to my privacy page in the long description box and in the short description box.

The full link to my privacy page shows in my Register consent box and in the Subscribe to our Posts box. on my website. However, it is not a clickable link for people to click to read the privacy policy. When I tap it, a check mark appears in the box, but it doesn’t go to my privacy page.

This is the text in the two boxes: You have read and agreed to our Privacy Policy https://storiesfromacottage.com/privacy.

How do I fix this problem?

Hi there,
I’ve just installed this plugin, but I am using Iubenda for privacy policy. How can I set this page as the privacy policy page? I’ve just an url.

Also, it’s not clear for me if the plugin keeps track of the consent received from users with a kind of “timestamp” of when the consent has been received. Can you please clarify?

On my site www.foamengineers.co.uk I have the Privacy & Cookies Policy tab at the base on the right hand side and when you hover over it the cursor changes indicating a link but when you click on it nothing happens. How do I attach the link to the Privacy Page on the website from this tab?

How to Hide Privacy Page on WordPress.

One more question how to hide some of the unwanted static pages like privacy page from the wordpress automatically showing it.

It is by default showing it at the top of the page but i do not want to display the privacy page at the top with other important pages.

I have decided to put the privacy link at the bottom but cannot figure out how to hide the page at the top.
