I’ve seen others have had similar issues throughout the years with varying versions of Gravity Forms, but this broke the submit button on the latest update of 2.7.0
Considering it’s not compatible with the last 3 versions of WP and is 7 years without updates, I’m not necessarily expecting any help here more-so just informational.
If anyone has suggestions for other plugins they’ve tried since this one I would appreciate them!
]]>Can’t submit any forms with this active and Gravity Forms 2.5. Clicking Submit once does nothing, and after that it switches the cursor on the Submit button to “not-allowed”. Deactivating this plugin resolves the issue. (Maybe it’s not even needed with GF 2.5 anymore anyway!)

Enabling this plugin makes GF background tasks fail.

I have a form used to enter data and multiple people use it. Is there a way to prevent duplicates based on only a few select fields and not all? In the form, one of our fields is an initial text field, where the user puts in their initials. In a case were two people are unintentionally entering the same data, this initial field will still be different. Right now we export entries and use a pivot table to find duplicates. Any suggestions to prevent different people from entering the same data? Is there a plug in that notifies the user if they may be entering a duplicate entry?
Thanks!
]]>I have just did the update of the Gravity Forms to 2.3.2., and Gravity Forms Duplicate Prevention version 0.1.5, and 0.1.4. stopped working.
I had to deactivate the plugin.
EDIT: Although turning off the plugin made the GF working, eventually GF stopped working again. The solution was to deactivate and delete GF, and replace it with a fresh copy. t seems that the update got corrupted.

On a side note, shame that Gravity Forms still didn’t make it build-in…
Also, how do I exactly (and where) check the logs? A bit unclear on this.

]]>Hi,
Your plugin works great! Tested on WordPress 4.4.
One question:
Does it have to fill-up the error_log file with each duplicate blocking?
Can we prevent this? It places the form details in this file, and they are kind of confidential stuff.
Thank you!

]]>My client is using Gravity Forms to track employee time. While for the most part it does a great job stopping duplicates, they are getting some random entries that are exactly the same. Usually within a few hours to a day in between. Even if it was user error, where maybe they forgot to submit their time and went to enter it again, it should stop these duplicates. Every field on the duplicate entries match up exactly. They are also using mobile android phones to submit entries. Any ideas?

]]>I use Gravity Perks (https://gravitywiz.com/gravity-perks/) to generate a Unique ID with every form submission.
Some relevant info about this plugin: “It’s important to note that in order to guarantee that the ID is truly unique, the field is populated only after the form has been successfully submitted. Since the field has no value prior to submission, this field is not visible on the frontend.”
Does this negate the usefulness of your duplicate prevention mechanism, in the context of the cryptographic hash? Would this cause every submission (duplicate or not) to have a unique hash, therefore removing its ability to detect duplicates?

]]>Hi there,
I am using the most up to date G.Forms and woocommerce.
I am also using the gravity form woo-commerce add on to allow gravity forms to calculate prices inside woo commerce orders, for event registration purposes.
I have recently found out that this extension creates duplicate entries as a “failsafe” but unfortunately, as its being used for event registration, duplicate entries are not what we want at all! Particularly as we have choices within the form with limits attached to them, and are getting 2 choices taken with each single submission!
Anyway, the plugin developers are not willing to address this, and then I found my way to your plugin, hoping it could provide a fix, but unfortunately, after install and activation, I still get 2 submissions each time a form is submitted.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I understand this is a long shot!

]]>This plugin is great except, and this is just a heads up for anyone using Woo Commerce, that it causes problems in the shopping cart page of Woo Commerce where delivery options and quantity edits won’t update.
Took as a while to narrow it down, but this plugin was definitely the cause (we cleared the functions file and disabled all other plugins too).
Otherwise, it works fine.
