We are using YITH WooCommerce Multi Vendor / Marketplace, User Role Editor and CPT UI on our website.
What we want to achive is to let new Vendors create new posts on custom posts type News and Jobs.
We have tested this with Authors and it worked but when a user is at the same time registered as Vendor he gets this notification “You do not have permission to edit this jobs.”
We have contacted the Yith support and they redirect us to your support. saying that the previllages on the capability Type (post) is not working and that this falls out of the support policy.
We have also have the same privillages on the Vendors goup on the User Role editor but still not granding the provillages.
Do you know by any chance anything regarding this matter? Can you please provide us more details on how the capability type on the CPT UI is working?
Kind regards,
Nana
I’d like to restrict the templates that the editor role can create pages with. If I have 2 templates named Default Template and Advanced Template; how do I make it such that the Admin role has access to build pages off both but the Editor role can just use the “Default Template”?
Thanks
]]>We do however have special versions of this frontend, that we used to use on our own admin accounts. These pages are private.
Can I use the ‘current_user_switched’ to view these pages, even though they are private?
I’m not asking for an implemented solution, just a push in the right direction.
Thank you very much!
]]>However, I noticed that posting the events user role capabilities doesn’t have unique capabilities. Instead, they are the same as “post” permissions. There is no sub capability to distinguish MEC posts from other posts.
Therefore if I want to grant User Group A event posting privileges, I also have to grant them posting privileges.
Is there a way around this?
]]>We’ve had 2 clients experience problems using PayPal as a payment method (who didn’t have problems before). The error displayed to the client is a generic one and no errors are reported for us to trace (logging also isn’t recommended on a production website), so not really sure how to troubleshoot this one.
We’ll keep using it on one of our sites to keep an eye on it since it looks great.
The new payment options are exciting (Pay in instalments, Venmo, etc.) and the payment interface is great!
]]>I’d like to give access for a specific plugin (YITH), but I don’t know how to do it (can’t find it in Custom capabilities).
Could you help me, please?
Thank you in advance. Kind regards,
Maria
]]>The moderator/organiser should be able to give the privileges to more participants during the meeting, if required, like presentation rights or even full admin rights. At present the invited guests are able to kick out even the meeting initiator. This will limit the use of the tool. Or am I missing something?
]]>I can access only these two:
wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=matomo-settings
wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=matomo-systemreport&tab=troubleshooting
The access, privacy, exclusions, geolocation, and advanced tabs on settings all generate this message: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
I’ve tried all relevant options on the troubleshooting page (clear cache, sync all users, sync all sites). No effect, also after a hard refresh.
Also I’m not sure how the Network Admin settings page is supposed to work but I note that the URLs of the Settings tabs all actually point to the root site (i.e. they don’t include /network/
). If I manually change that, I don’t get access either.
So to spell it out, the URL of the Access tab in the Network Admin is:
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=matomo-settings&tab=access
Whereas one might expect it to be:
/wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=matomo-settings&tab=access
Neither works: my super admin account doesn’t seem to have the right privileges. This holds for both of the multisite networks I’m using Matomo on (one with subfolders on which we successfully troubleshooted the ZotPress download tracking, the other with subdomains).
]]>I am trying to troubleshoot using the twig syntax for lookupviews and I get “Unexpected error. Please try again.” IF I use a lower rights user as my D365 user. If I use a D365 admin account, the lookup populates, so I’m trying to figure out what rights my lower rights user needs.
Thanks,
Matt
