Im almost done setting up my site with s2member. I have a (hopefully simple) question:
Can I set up my Pro Stripe account with Pay Pal Express Checkout? I already have a Stripe account and a Basic Pay Pal (Business Account).
I want to know how to go from Business pay pal, to Pay Pal Express…and then how to integrate that with my Stripe Pro Forms in s2member.
Hope this makes sense. Thanks.

]]>I had overwritten all submit form buttons to read “Checkout Now”, but these buttons need to read uniquely for what the user is trying to accomplish. Some users buy the entire membership and that form has “Checkout Now”, while others purchase portions, such as individual courses, etc. These users need to register first (“Register button”) before paying (“Checkout Now”) since these are single, one time purchases.
My question is how to change the buttons in the new version of s2Member Pro when using pro forms with wp 4.3.1. Nothing seems to work like it did before. Having “Checkout Now” on the cancellation form is quite confusing.

]]>Should it not charge the member again, since the member already paid for the higher package and only save the downgrade changes for recurring charge for when the actual higher subscription (EOT) that they were subscribed to actually ends/expires.
Is this because our Paypal account is standard and not upgraded to pro yet? Any help is appreciated.

]]>I am currently looking for the following setup and I just wanted to make sure this will work before I spend money on the affiliate software:
Our paid subscribers use Paypal, and we are using pro forms. I want to integrate idevaffiliate to apply a $10 discount to a clients subscription for every person they refer.
Questions:
-Can this be done?
-How would I set this up?
-When applied, does the discount code apply to the referrers ongoing subscription, or just one month?
-Does the expiry that I set for the coupon code pertain to the date that the code can no longer be entered, or the date the discount will stop working on a subscription?
-Will it allow the discount to be applied for each referral (1 referral = $10, 2 =$20 etc)
-Will there be any technical issues once a persons subscription cost reaches $0?
– is it possible to show each members unique affiliate code in their members area?
Sorry for so many questions, any help is much appreciated.
Thanks

]]>I’ve been trying to fill out the PayPal Account Details and the PayFlow Account details in the S2 Member Settings. I would not swear that I’ve got it right because the help text / instructions in these sections do not seem to match my PayPal UI. But I’ve been able to hunt and peck around and I think I have all the fields filled in correctly. But I don’t know of a way to test it.
My big problem right now is that the S2 Member Settings UI does not show me a the tools for generating PayPal Pro-Forms. I see a tab for Stripe Pro-Forms, but I do not have a tab for PayPal Pro-Forms. All I have is a PayPal buttons tab.
If I have a paid S2 Member Pro account, shouldn’t I see some sort of tab that let’s me configure PayPal Forms? If so, where should it be? And how can I figure out why it’s not showing up?
By the way, I’ve reported this to S2 Member as trouble ticket #5891.
Thanks

]]>I’m using Authorize.net Pro Forms. When the member selects the billing method, there is no field for billing name. The billing name is pulling from the first name and last name fields. I have some members that pay for other members that they have sponsored.
How can I add a billing first name and billing last name field to the Authorize.net Pro Forms?
Thank you in advance for your timely responses.

]]>In past forum posts it was indicated that in future releases this would be changed to allow for more freedom with using two or more Pro Forms on a single page.
I have just setup a test page on my site and I no longer see the error message that used to appear when more than one Pro Form was added to a single page.
Is it safe to say this limitation no longer exists? I was not able to find this directly addressed in the docs.
Background info: Essentialy we are trying to use “@media screen” css to display an Authorize.net form to desktop users, and a PayPal Pro Form to users on mobile devices with smaller screen resolutions. To do this we need two Pro Forms placed on the same WordPress page.

]]>I am going to be using S2Member Pro to let people have membership to my website and I need to get them to review and accept terms and conditions before they are allowed to pay.
I currently have set up a pro-form with a check-box and link to t&c’s but due to the nature of what I’m selling I could be liable for huge amounts if I dont get it all legally iron-clad and after some legal advice, have been advised that the check-box is not enough, I need terms and conditions displayed and accepted on a separate page before the checkout process itself.
Is there anyway to have a page appear before the s2m pro-form which requires them to read and accept terms and conditions, and then directs to checkout and checks and hides the accept T&C’s option so I still get a record that says they accepted them in the user profile?

]]>Hopefully someone can help with a small issue I’m having as currently pulling my hair out!
I’m trying to setup WP-Affiliate and get it to register affiliates when they purchase a subscription through an Authnet Pro form. However, despite setting the option within the Affiliate plugin users are not being registered as affiliates when they subscribe to the blog.
I’ve tried adding a user to the blog through the Dashboard and that registers them as a affiliate fine. Just not when I use the pro form.
Upon doing some checking I can see that the function that adds them as an affiliate is attached to the ‘user_register’ hook. However, this does not seem to get fired when I register through the pro-form. I’ve proved this by attaching a custom function to the hook which generates a log message. This only gets called when registering via the dashboard, not the pro-form.
So, my question is two-fold. Firstly, is there a reason why the ‘user-register’ hook is not being called when using the pro-form? Secondly, this being the case is there another hook I can use to do the affiliate registration that will be called EVERY time a user registers on the site.
Many Thanks.

]]>1) We used a test PayPal account without a credit card so it made it an “eCheck” … does a user who pays by eCheck have immediate access since those take time to clear?
2) When I go to our Update Billing page with the shortcode it says “Please log in at PayPal to update your billing information.” and then shows the form anyways. If they update using that form will it switch them to direct payments? If not, can I use s2if or some type of logic to just say “Please log in at PayPal to update your billing information.” and not show the form?
Thanks,
Andrew
