]]>Can you please add product schema with @type offer when there are multiple product variations on product page. Currently the plugin treats the product page with many variations as @type AggregateOffer.
Or if there is any option in plugin to use simple offer type instead of AggregateOffer schema.
I’ve always been using Rank Math because someone told me it was the next big thing when I started my web agency. But after years of using it and doing research here and there, I think it is time to try Yoast SEO, the old school OG plugin. But I encountered a problem instantly.
Yoast SEO does not have an product schema type option for default posts. I have a client that sells agricultural machinery. They have product pages with pricings and specs, but without Woocommerce checkout. Clients should contact the company and they will do the payments privatly. This website also has no need for blog posts. So instead of using the WordPress default blog posts type for articles, we use them for product listings that have ACF custom meta fields.
The problem is, we cannot seem to give the WordPress default post type the schema Product. Rank math can do this (but it has other limitations that Yoast SEO does not have). We also do not need the Woocommerce SEO plugin, as we do not use woocommerce. But we do however have product listings.
Is there a way to use product schema for the default wordpress post type?
Thank you for your time!
With kind regards
I’m not sure why Woocommerce includes product schema on archive/category pages, but… how can I remove it?
I’m getting the ‘Either “offers”, “review”, or “aggregateRating” should be specified’ error in Search Console for around 1.5k pages, because it’s looking for the product data on category pages, when… there shouldn’t even be product schema on any pages other than actual single product pages.
Google’s guidance is that product schema should only appear on an actual product page, so… why is it even there?
I’ve tried various code functions to remove it, but none seem to do the job.
Woocommerce should remove this, but in the meantime… can you offer a working code snippet that will remove the product schema from everywhere other than actual product pages?
Thanks.

Look like something is weird with the plugin as it’s including product schema on non-configured pages.
Please help me to fix this issue.
I use both Yoast Premium SEO and Yoast Woocommerce SEO plugins on our ecommerce site. We sell contact lenses using grouped products each product with two linked simple products, one for the right eye and one for the left eye. For example: https://eyedeals.com/product/1-day-acuvue-moist-90-pack/
When I test the grouped product of the above URL using Google’s “Rich Results Test” or when using the Google Search Console I get a price of 83.99 USD before taxes as shown in the rendered HTML below whereas the price of the product is 71.99 USD. The number 83.99 is not something I entered and does not have any regular mathematical relationship to the product price and does not show up in the source code for the web page except in the Schema output from one of the Yoast plugins as shown below. i.e. the Yoast plugins have generated this number
"offers":[{"@type":"Offer","price":"83.99","priceSpecification":{"price":"83.99","priceCurrency":"USD","valueAddedTaxIncluded":false},"priceCurrency":"USD","availability
To this point I have concluded that the Yoast plugins do not work with grouped products but I would like to be wrong about this. As a side note the Schema rendered price values generated for variable products seems to be fine. it’s just the grouped products.
I would be grateful for any insights that anyone may have on this mystery. Thank you.

]]>In the structured data testing tool, I’m able to discover the PRODUCT scheme for this page: [ redundant link removed ] & many other pages which are not having any product ratings.
It’s not configured in this plugin.

[{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Product","name":"","image":"","description":"","offers": ]
Why it’s occurring in without configuration?
it’s coming after “<!– Schema & Structured Data For WP v1.9.49 – –> ” section. Which clearly indicates its inserted by this plugin.
The website is using product Review plugin: WP Product review Lite (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-product-review/)
Any help will be appreciated?
