For example each Variation has ‘Size’, ‘Colour’, ‘Brand’ and there are thousands of values to be filtered/filled.
]]>Learnpress combined with Woocommerce allows to sell courses from the online store. It’s possible to associate a course to a product and therefore, when the user buys the product, he or she will be automatically enrolled in the course. Also, it’s possible associate different courses to one product so that automatic enrollment after purchase is in several courses at the same time.
However, many times, the course seller needs to offer options on the same course, using product variations this would be possible. For example:
A History course that you offer in English and Spanish. Or a Computing course that has a basic and expert level. Learnpress forces to create two products to sell those two courses, when it could be sold on a single product page, using the variation dropdown menu, if LP allowed to associate a course to each variation, instead of to the product.
The website owner is forced to create as many products as courses they have, and the user is forced to buy from different products, when they could choose from several course options within the same product page.
I think this is a bad user experience for both.
Also for add-ons. You can sell the basic course or the basic course plus an extra. These would be two attributes that would make two variations of the product. By assigning a course to each variation, the student could buy and enroll in different courses from the same product page, for similar courses where only have to choose the desired option/variation.
I think this would work for many Learnpress users (all those who sell courses with slight variations and who don’t want to complicate the purchase process for their students).
Thanks for your attention.
Regards.
Suggested Feature:
It would be helpful to have a bulk selection or multi-select feature to make it easier to add multiple variations at once.

I didn’t modify any source code.
And it’s impossible to order in frontend, what is really blocking my business
Thanks for helping.
I’ve already tested :
My impression is that the number of options shown in the size drop-down is limited to 6 entries. When I added a size and reordered them in the backend (Products -> Variations), the new size appeared in the options menu on the frontend, but another size disappeared.
All sizes 34 to 42 should be available, but 35 and 42 are missing.
Technical parameters:
WooCommerce 9.1.2
Blocky Child Theme
All plugins updated.
Our client has products that are provided by fire departments all over Washington and Oregon. There are only 12 products being offered, however these products have 300-9,000 variations – 50k+ in total.
The department attribute is responsible for a majority of the variations and is quite important, as it allows users to know which products are available based on their location/jurisdiction.
The Issues
The store listings and product page on in the admin would often crash, so I custombuilt both views to avoid WooCommerce having to run through all variations to determine a price range. I couldn’t find a way around that without having to touch the plugin’s code itself.
Outside of that, I continue to experience long load times when filtering the products on the product pages and see a ton of killed queries in our WPEngine Error Logs.
Here’s an example:
Any recommendations on how to get around this would be greatly appreciated! I can also provide a full error report if necessary.
]]>I’m looking for a plugin that allows me to add variable products and this is the problematic part: It needs to allow me to add “attributes” with an (individual) pricing option for each of the terms. So if a customer clicks on the variation, it could give options of “none” and then several terms. Each with individual pricing that adds to the price of the original product.
For example if the original product were £1000, it should be possible to purchase this at £1000 (the price remaining listed) on the product page throughout. But as I add a term from each variation it will show individual price value and also add this to the total purchase price of the product.
We are working with suppliers that have this option available on their sites, but i dont know if this is possible via plugin or other with WooCommerce or even WordPress as as whole. If not I wish I had the ability to develop such a plugin as it seems common sense to me, that one should exist.
Looking forward to some help and hopefully a solution to this
Many thanks Dustin
]]>Could you please help me with that one?:
Yesterday I added more colour options to some of my products. After that I have two products with 248 variations in total (mix of different product options + colours). Before all products where normally available in max 60 variations (example: https://bioswing.pl/produkt/bioswing-560-iq/).
All products with up to 60 variations are displayed properly but the one with 248 variations is loading with the names of the atributes only (https://bioswing.pl/produkt/bioswing-oneup-eco/). The detailed variations of the product aren’t displayed.
You have to click on Clear (“Wyczy??” in Polish) and then you may see all variations. But just after choosing any of the available options (e.g. type of the chair wheels or the colour) all the variations disappear and only the names of the atributes containing different options are visible. Clicking on Clear makes variations visible again. Choosing any option makes them disappear again.
Do you have any idea why is it like this?
