In other words, is it possible to configure whether to use “select options” or “add to cart” in cases when a product has default values set for all its options?

(This is for a new WordPress/WooCommerce website.) When attempting to map attributes to columns I noticed that not all of my store’s attributes were showing up as “Product?fields“. Some of the attributes I had just added were missing.
Workaround:
My temporary fix was to create a test product and make sure it contained every single WooCommerce attribute along with a placeholder attribute value. Once the new attributes had at least one term they then showed up on the Import screen as attributes that could have columns mapped to them.
