I’m looking at ProfileGrid, and specifically the WooCommerce Subscriptions integration looks really positive for my application, but I’m trying to see what facilities there are to build a search form for users in ProfileGrid groups.

For example, if I put users into one or more group by profession, or geography, can I build a search form where other anyone, or users with access can search by name, profession, or geography? For example – Smith, Programmer, Ontario? Can I mark certain users as private so they don’t show up in search, but still can be members of a group?

Join Button not working

While using the Profile Grid the Description Title will go to the Group Page but the Join Group Button will not go to the Group Page.

Rich Text in description field

I am shocked there isn’t a way to add a ‘rich text’ editor as a field for profiles. I’m hoping users could add links, images, and formatting to their bio’ as they fill them out.
Is there any workaround for this? Is this something that could be added soon?

Group Map page not populating with users

I paid for the premium package and am needing to use the group map feature. I have used the shortcode: [PM_USERS_MAP gid=”1″] and confirmed that my group ID is indeed ‘1’. I also added an ‘address’ field named ‘location’ in my group registration form. For an unknown reason no group members populate the map still.
I have acquired a Google Map API that I know is working because it is working on the Modern Events Calendar Plugin I am using.
Please help me fix this issue. Is it a bug or something I am doing wrong?

User friendly profile slugs – NO /?uid=username

Hi there,

I’m coming back to this after about a year.

I had an issue with how Profile Grid composed the username slugs and this was the reason I changed to another user profile plugin.

Even with your username add-on, the Profile Grid slugs would show up as:

example.com/profile/?uid=username

Has this now been fixed and is it possible to have a user friendly profile slugs, such as:

example.com/profile/username ??

Without the /?uid= parameter inside the slug?

Works very well. It comes with the functions I need and is very user friendly. I want to have some functionalities for example – to hide the button “Join a group” or to choose which groups to show in a list of groups depending on the role of the user. Thanks and keep up the great work!
