This plugin is really helpful and I suggest any digital agency and all kind of organizarion to install it to taje their projects, tasks and deadlines in an easy way.

Supoort is perfect and answer quickly. I had long covcersations from my Gmail with them and they always respond.

The Projet Manajer intself is pretty easy to understand, intuitive and powerful.

User Listing and Project Manager Plugin

I’m creating a site where one group of users posts listings (listers) in different categories, and then another group of users (project managers) can review the listings and then add them to different projects they’ve created.

For example, Lister 1 posts 6 different listings in 3 different categories. Project Manager 1 is working on 3 projects and decides they want to use 2 of Lister 1’s listings, in 2 different categories of one of their projects.

Is there a plugin that can handle something like this, and is scalable if the site grows in user base and views? I know there are listing plugins and membership plugins, but so far I haven’t been able to figure out how to use them to create projects and listings simultaneously, where users can choose listings for their projects.

Just brilliant plugin for project managment using wordpress.

The pricing is actually extremely fair and tipped in our favour as a one-off charge for unlimited sites (currently $99). Compare that to many other apps and plugins. I use for charity and voluntary projects – so glad for that.

The added (pro) features are also very useful and ups the possibilities for using the plugin.

The overall PM functions are very well conceived, in terms of how it sits into wordpress and very customisable, with css, hooks etc.

Finally and most importantly, Dylan the developer responds quickly and very positively to feedback, bugs etc., which I discovered after myself discovered a few bugs. He was right back with fixes that worked. So it loses no stars in this rating.

If you are a big business or coporation looking for a PM app, then go elsewhere but if WordPress users want a simple,light and fast; easy to understand, flexible, customisable, free/affordable (with Pro) and keenly-supported plugin – then Zephyr Project Manager is defo worth the download.

The FREE version is itself very usable and gives the meaure of the thing, so it will cost nothing to get a feel for it. But at current pricing and pricing model, Pro is more than worth it – if it works for you.

Very long loading / processing times

We have started using WP Project Manager Pro a few months ago.
Currently we have about 20 active projects and 10 archived projects. However over the course of time we have noticed that the plugin has become very slow.

Changes that are made in a project take about 5 to 10 minutes to be processed. This is not something we can work with as we are going to a lot more projects.

How can we solve this?

Changing max file upload size for attachments in comments

Hello, I have Project Manager installed on my WordPress. When I click on Projects > My Project and then the “eye” next to a task list it brings me to the “single list” page. On this page you can “add a comment” which brings up a WYSISWIG that has an “Attach” button.

The problem is that if the file I am trying to attach is too big it just does nothing. It doesn’t give me an error that the file is too big it just doesn’t respond. I was wondering if there was any way I could change the attach file upload max size? Based on the files I have tried it seems to be a 2MB limit. Any way to up that?

Hi,

I came across your plugin and have got it to work. From all of the BuddyBoss/Press Project Manager plugins, this is by far the best, and it is a pity that it is no longer supported.
I am not a coder and would like to understand how to set the conditional tags so that any BuddyBoss group member can create/delete a project, and where any group member can add/edit a task.
Also, are there any issues with the plugin able to function properly with the latest versions of WordPress?

I’ve been building websites on WordPress for years and have used many plugins. I have never received the product support, quick responses, and even faster implementations of requests than I have of Dylan and this project manager.

I HIGHLY recommend you get this for the functionality, customization, and most importantly the continued product support. I must have sent Dylan chains of emails and requests/questions and he always responded with insightful and actionable items without frustration. I appreciate you and this plugin Dylan! I look forward to the many new features planned.

This is an awesome plugin for managing projects. It looks great and functions well which I find to be pretty rare. I had a couple of problems but Dylan was fast to reach out (like next day quick) which surprised me. He addressed all of my problems and fixed the issues I was having. I am impressed and am confident in this plugin and developer to provide me with the service I need in the future!

If you need a Project Plugin, THIS IS IT!

I have tried them all and Zephyr Project Manager beats every single one of the others. Zephyr has everything you need including assignable tasks and milestones. You can create groups and only allow the users who are assigned to view their own tasks and files. It is also very easy to navigate.

But, the absolute best thing about Zephyr Project Manager is DYLAN. He answers my questions very quickly. He still continues to make adjustments to my plugin as needed to make it exactly how I want it! In my opinion, Dylan has went above and beyond his responsibilities. That type of kindness and dedication is hard to find. The world needs more people just like him!
