project tags and product tags sitemap files

Hi,
1- From the Sitemap Tab, when I want to activate project tags and product tags, the system does not find any of these 2 files, the project_tag-sitemap.xml and the product_tag-sitemap.xml
You seem to say that theses files will be added to the sitemap_index.xml but it’s not, I have to submit this project_tag and product_tag manually by myself in the Google search console. It’s not a big issue to submit them, I just want to know if it’s normal.

2- After some RankMath plugin updates, the sitemap.xml disappears (I can see it in the Google console).
So I come back to Sitemap Settings tab, saves this tab again for the file to be available and it’s available in the Search Console.

No ‘Most used’ Project Tags facility?

Hi All,
It used to much easier to add Project Tags to my portfolio posts, because the old editor could display a cloud of the most used tags. All I had to do was click ’em most of the time—unless I was creating a new one.
In Gutenberg, it takes MUCH longer to add the tags now You have to remember what they are and type them all into the little box.

Any chance of reinstating the old feature?

Hi there,
Thank you so much for this plugin! I was only using a tiny fraction of Jetpack’s features, but I find the content types for portfolio and testimonials indispensable, so thank you for providing a plugin that creates these CPTs without any hassle.

I was able to move many of my Pages over to the new Project (Portfolio) CPT, but alas, my categories (project types) and tags (project tags) got stripped. The relationship between Pages (parent-child) also got stripped.

While it’s easy enough for me to recreate the categories as Project Types, is there a way to enable the Parent-Child relationship that Pages normally have? I have some Projects that are quite large and have many components. I want each of the components to be in my portfolio, but I want them to be organized (and not just by Project Type).

For example, I have Category A, which has a very large project in it. There are several components to that large project, and some of those components also have smaller parts:

Category A
Project A
-Component A
–Component a.1
–Component a.2
-Component B
–Component b.1
-Component C
–Component c.1
–Component c.2
–Component a.3
–Component a.4

Is there a way to do this? If not, I highly suggest it as a feature, as projects can get quite overwhelming and confusing, even with Project Types and Tags added!

Q: Are there ‘Project Types’ and ‘Project Tags’ widgets?

They’re nav elements I’d really like to display. They don’t seem to be available though.

Displaying Tags at the bottom of each Post

Hi,

I read the documentation at https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Posts_Tags_Screen. It seems like wordpress allows displaying of tags at sidebar or at the bottom of the page. But I can’t get it up.

I am using Divi theme and it seems like Divi theme doesn’t have this feature.

My sample post is at https://www.learningforkeeps.com.sg/physics-in-life/interesting-usage-light/ and I want to display the tags for this post at the bottom of the page.

Please help.

Creating a Menu using Tags vs. Project Tags

I chose this theme because I really liked the portfolio landing page, but I’m struggling with tweaking the settings so I have comprehensive organization and navigation for users. I have some questions that I will enumerate:

1. Am I correct in assuming that tags ≠ project tags?
2. If 1 is correct, is there a way to publish portfolio posts that include tags that can be accessed from the Primary menu? I can’t seem to use a project tag as a menu item and I’m wondering if there’s a work-around or if I should find myself a different theme. (For anyone looking at my website, the posts that are accessible via Primary menu are blog posts using normal tags from previous themes I’ve experimented with.)
3. Like I said (^), the menu headers as of right now are sourcing old blog posts using categories and tags, but I don’t like how they display…
“Category:breakfast” or “Tag: Lunch” instead of just “Breakfast” or “Lunch”…if there is a fix for (2^), I suspect this head problem will carry over.

Not all projects.
