WP Admin extremely slow from Jetpack API Calls

These two API calls are adding at least 1.5s to every pageload in the admin panel. I’ve confirmed that deactivating and reactivating jetpack removes these calls and the delay making it basically instant again. Please make this only load on the publicize settings page instead of every admin page.

Publicize can’t log in to Facebook

My site has been using FB sharing for 8 years, and this is popped up last week. First Jetpack told me to reconnect to FB, then “You previously logged in to Jetpack with Facebook.
Would you like to continue?” I clicked “Continue as [username]” which gave “There is an error in logging you into this application. Please try again later.” (There were no errors in the DevTools console, and I even deleted the cookies, if that had anything to do with it.)

Other things I have tried, following https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-social/facebook/:

Ran the Jetpack Debug?Tool which said everything was good.
Reset the Facebook?connection by deleting the app.

Are there other things I can do, or could this be on the Jetpack backend? I have not seen other users with the same problem.

Share when publishing off by default

Is there a way to have the “Share when publishing” toggle off by default. I want to be able to share when publishing just not for every post. I only need to share about 5% of the posts when publishing so toggling it off every time is a pain point.

Is this possible?

The first time it happened was six hours ago. It shared normally with Facebook. I tried to reconnected LinkedIn with Jetpack Social, but to no avail.

The message when posting was the usual: “Post published and sharing on Facebook (username here), LinkedIn (username here).?View post”

I am using jetpack to automatically repost my posts to facebook and so on. However, despite everything looks nice on the preview, the actual post on facebook is not made out of the excerpt but the full post which makes it look messy. How can i fix this?

I’ve recently noticed in my auto-share box (previously publicize) that I only have so many shares left and that I have to upgrade my Jetpack to get more shares.

I’ve looked at the documentation regarding this and as far as I can see, auto-sharing is included but re-sharing is only available via upgrade.

Why, then, am I being told that I only have so many shares left? I’m not re-sharing, I’m auto-sharing. Is this in the small print? Or is it something that has broken?

Paid social share not working

My WP editor said “You currently have 0 shares remaining. Upgrade to get more” so I clicked the link and followed the steps to pay.

But my WP editor still says “You currently have 0 shares remaining. Upgrade to get more” just the same, even though I have the email receipt for paying.

Please advise on how to get this service that you are newly charging for working for paying customers.
