Publish button all of a sudden stopped working. Problem occurs on all browsers. I’ve replaced the post.php noted with new file (even though there were no changes). Disabled all plugins. Cleared Cookies. I am admin. It was working on one post, then within a minute it didn’t for some unknown reason. P

]]>To replicate, please open a Custom CSS or Custom Javascript window, make an edit, then try to press the publish button at the bottom.
You will see that the top of the button is not clickable, as the section above is overlapping.
This may be a negative margin issue or something.

]]>If I copy the text of the article, then refresh the page and paste it back into the article box, then it will save. But if I want to assign a category or tags or fill in SEO information from the Yoast plugin, or a big edit, I have to do one thing then save it quickly for each thing, or the Update button goes dead again.
The same thing happens with the Publish button when I create a new article. If I don’t Publish the article quickly before I fill in all the extraneous stuff, the button is dead.
I am using the latest version of WordPress and the Classic Editor.

You’ll see that after I hit save, the title reverts to “Auto Draft.” Very odd.
I’ve changed back to a default theme. Didn’t work.
I disabled all plugins. Didn’t work.
I don’t have any security plugins installed yet, so that’s not it.
I don’t have any errors in my server logs either.
Would welcome any suggestions.
