Since then I have not been able to update or publish any pages as it affects every page I go onto.
This is urgent so if it can be looked at that would be great.
Thanks,

]]>There are some products that have been previously imported. I saw one of them is showing status- “Draft”
I tried to change it to publish from ‘edit’ as well as ‘quit edit’. but it does not work. the page refreshes and goes back to ‘draft’.
Please help
So for some odd reason, when i create a new page and ‘hit’ publish, it brings me to a blank page.
However, when i click back and check the pages, that new page appears in the list.
I can navigate through all the admin controls, but when I hit ‘update’ or ‘publish’, I get stuck on a blank white screen.
Anyone else have this problem before? Any solutions?
Thanks so much.
]]>is there a way, to make my multi-user-blog-users submit all changes on published pages and posts for a review? At the moment, submitting for review only comes with new posts & pages, while the capability “publish_pages” (oder posts) is not given. As soon, as a page or post is published by e.g. an editor and the user can “edit_published_pages”, every change on a published page will appear online on the frontend. Which is unwanted, as the user should NOT publish pages – including changes on published pages.
To me, it woul be more logical, if a user can only publish pages or changes, if the capability “publish_pages” (or posts) is given to him.
Has anyone an idea for a workaround?
Thx! liqui (who mistyped the own name at regstration! URGS!)
]]>The WP fileset I downloaded and unzipped to c:\wordpress. In PHP I had to fiddle with php.ini to get WP’s install.php to run – it finally worked. In order to invoke WP, I have to open IE and type in https://localhost/wp-admin/login.php which tosses up a nice looking WP page asking for username and password, that all goes well. I can get to the Dashboard and change any and all settings and so forth. I created some pages to play with and published them via the Admin.
The problem: Now I don’t know where the pages or page data files are located (published to) therefore I can’t point my browser to them. I’m not sure where they’re being saved! Every time I hit “Visit Site” off the Admin I get tossed to the “localhost/wp-admin” file display and not to the blog title page I was expecting. I’m sure it’s just a setting I missed or messed up on but I can’t find it or don’t know where to look.
Can someone tell me if I’m doing this correctly? Is there a “path” statement I need to use? Does anyone know where I should put “pages” and exactly how to publish them on the drive/in the folders so I can see the results as users would out on the ‘net?
]]>Your attempt to edit this page: “About” has failed.
Please try again.
I get this message when I am trying to save a page or post. If I am attempting to publish the error message is the same except replace the word edit with publish.
I am using WordPress 2.5 and the default theme. I have only changed the header and footer. Nothing else.
Any ideas?
