On my page under the galleries (compact album) it says “There is no album selected or the album was deleted” Does anybody know why this is and how to remove it please?

I have a number of categories and 2 pages. I want half of the categories to be displayed on 1 of the pages, and the other half displayed on the second page. The second page needs to be a password protected page and thus the posts that fall in the categories displayed on that page can only be seen by those that have the password to the page.

Thus I have the following categories:

category1
category2
category3
category4
category5
category6

I have the following pages:

Page1
Page2

I need categories 1-3 to display with their category titles on page1 and categories 4-6 with their category titles to display on page2 which is a password protected page.

I have searched the forums and tried a slew of plugins to no avail thus far.

I am developing a plugin to learn plugin development in wordpress, I am using OOP architecture to achieve this. I just want in help to use activation hook in that class. It is working when i did not extend plugin class with WP-Import class. When i extend it with it. It did not call the hook inside the class. It works though out side the class but i want to call it inside.

Unable to locate WordPress content directory (wp-content)

I’m new to WP and don’t quite understand since I installed WP from my hosting service. What am I missing or what do I need to do to correct this problem?

Other parts are still accessible, among them:
– Edit, New
– Settings
– Plugins, Add New (but plugging in that way never worked, i use FTP upload)
– Categories

Would you have any helpful ideas? I know there are troublechecker plugins but i cannot activate in the current situation. The blog is here (really only starting, and my WP experience only starting to build up too):

I have uploaded various plugins, but activated only half of them. Unfortunately, now i cannot access the list of active plugins, so i don’t have exact knowledge what’s active and i cannot deactivate them. I could only remove files and folders via FTP.

Here’s plugins that i am quite sure are in use:
– All in one SEO
– Easy Adsense
– More Fields
– Sexy Bookmarks (for Facebook links etc.)
– Amazon Einzeltitellinks
– 042-clean-umlauts
– WP-DB-Backup

For some days after starting i had no problems, then some plug-ins seemed to bring trouble: I couldn’t access my Dashboard, but had to delete the plugin folders via FTP; after that all was fine again for a while. These brought me trouble:
– Add Quick Tag
– Simple Tags
– Google Sitemap Generator (maybe still activated though)

I want to add that the areas
– Appearance, Themes
– Appearance, Editor
are not accessible too. So i cannot change theme for testing (anyway, the blog itself is visible, only some controls are gone).

Would be thankful for any tried and tested hints

I use the newest Firefox, which i have restarted already. I have been using Gears, disabled it for my blog, but that brought no change.

Do you have any ideas why i can’t access “Edit Posts” and the Plugins-List?

Now when i write any post it comes first. But i want one of my post which is about me to come first. And other post after it. I want to sticky or pinned that post. It always should remain first.

Is there any option to make it sticky. And other recent post comes after it.

I have done some research of it. And found from here https://redalt.com/wiki/Adhesive, you can download pugins.

But how to upload it in my free account. I don’t even see an option for “plugins” in the admin panel.
