conflict with q-Translate, cookie category translations

Hello,
I have to update the cookie settings on this site which uses q-translate for the 2 languages (spanish and gallego). I realize this is an old plugin, but I cannot change it, so am trying to work around the issue, even if that means showing the cookies only in one language (spanish).

So what happened: I insalled GDPR Cookie Consent plugin, and all the categories show up but in english. So I simply translated them to spanish (leaving the slugs in english), and this is what I see now:

On the category list page, I see no option to add translations…

Has this happened to anybody else? Any suggestions on what I could do to show only the spanish? Thank you!

Hello!
I have a problem with the admin panel.
If you go through incognito in the browser to my site, then the default language is turned on, this is UA
But, when I’m in the admin panel, I edit the content and click on the link, for some reason it sends me to the RU version.
And I just can’t switch to UA.
What could be the problem?

I add this “[:ua]Як?сний друк та вишивка на одяз?[:] [:ru]Качественная печать и вышивка на одежде[:]” to my code, but I can’t see changes when I change site language. It just doesn’t translate Home page. Other pages is translating fine.

q-translate flags in footer (copyright) area

i have installed the q-translate plugin.

I’d like to have it displayed in the footer area of the copyright on the right side.

Hi,
how I can I use Subscribe2 with qTranslate-X?

In total we use 3 languages on our blog and I’d like to adapt the e-mails and also the widget.

Help is much appreciated and especially beginner-friendly explanations/instructions!

Language switcher menu to have language names in English

Hey Guys,

I really like the functionality of this plugin, but there is a small request from a client of mine. He would like the language switcher menu to have language names in English ( i.e. Vietnamese to have language name Vietnamese instead of Ti?ng Vi?t in the language switcher menu). Is there a way to make this modification?

I am using a realty theme for real estate – but on this site there is a problem with some aspect of qtranslate as I keep getting this message
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 36962304) (tried to allocate 20 bytes) in /homepages/7/d70596733/htdocs/culli/wp-includes/meta.php on line 829
on my Italian pages – but the English site works perfectly. Ive tweaked the php, uninstalled all the plugins and reinstalled – but it seems to be qtranslate thats the problem. Any ideas? I should add I use realty and qtranslate on two other sites and never had any problems. Typically this is my new main site so have already spent 2 months on it, and really need it to work!

URL modification removal

Is there a way where the URL cannot be modified but the content is translated to desired page? I don’t want to create another 100 URLs each time I translate the content to new language.

WP 3.9.1 problems with qTranslate plugin (visual tab issue)

I have problems with my site after upgrading to WP 3.9.1 (from 3.8.) – visual editor tab is not working anymore. I have checked forums for solution and finally found out that the problem is related to qTranslate plugin – visual editor works perfectly when qTranslate is disabled. Unfortunately I need this plugin badly, as my web is targeted to both English and Lithuanian speakers.
I had problems with qTranslate and WP upgrades before, but it was enought just to change qtranslate.php addining the name of installed WP version (for example: “define(‘QT_SUPPORTED_WP_VERSION’, ‘3.9.1’);”
But this doesn’t work for WP 3.9.1

Maybe someone here already had this problems and found some simple solution? I am not very well in script writing, but would appreciate any help….
