How to set up theme like demo?

Hello, how can I set up this theme like the demo? I found an .xml file, but it was not complete and does not work. If I could just get the instructions on how to set up the page like it looks, that would be great. Or if you could post the complete .xml file, that would help also.

Menu on smaller screens

Hi everyone

I’m using Quest on this website:

and I’m having trouble making the menu display properly on smaller screens. It seems to be permanently visible and over the main slider (Masterslider), I think this is a result of me attempting to make the logo image bigger and trying to centre it (which hasn’t worked). What I need it to do is not be visible on smaller screens and show the menu button which when pressed displays the menu clearly over the slider.

Any help much appreciated, thanks

Change Logo Size

Been trying to change the logo size so it is not ridiculously tiny but it’s not happening:

I have had no problem doing this on any other theme and when I use inspector it enlarges it fine using:

.logo {
height: 200px; (!important – used in stylesheet but obviously can’t in inspector)
}

Please help before I’m forced to change theme.

Centre Logo and Menu Quest Theme

How do I centre the logo and menu so it looks like it does on a slightly smaller screen?

I don’t understand why anyone would want it looking how it does now, it looks a bit ridiculous.

I have found a previous thread on this subject and it seemed to work for the person asking the question but it certainly doesn’t now.

Any help, much appreciated.

Quest child how to?

Hi there, I’m trying to create a child theme for the Quest theme but I can’t get it to work using the new standard method suggested in the codex https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Child_Themes

I’m following this Quest tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOFcPthGO54 but I want to create a child theme so I can customize things even further.

Can someone tell me the correct steps of how to go about creating a child theme for the Quest theme, using the new standard practice recommended by www.ads-software.com.

I have done it in the past using the old @import url(‘…./style.css’) method, but I can’t seem to get it to work using the new method in the codex.

p.s. I’m working locally on my machine if that makes any difference?

Quest don't work with Polylang

When you create a post with Page Builder and you want to translate with Polylang entry is duplicated and the original language is changed, a copy for the new language isn’t created.
How can this be fixed?

Quest Theme Update 1.4.3

I recently updated my Quest theme to the latest version and now my top menu has dropped down several centimetres from its original location and the drop down menus sit several centimetres from the menu. It looks awful.
Why did this happen and how do I fix it?

Quest Plus theme not displaying full page content

Hi,

I have recently installed the quest theme and purchased the quest plus plugin. I am using the page builder to build the home page and I am finding that once I add a few sections to the page and update the site, it does not display the full content. It cuts off the bottom half of what I have added to the page builder and will not display. Is there a predefined page length that I need to change? Or am I having some different sort of issue? Thanks

Quest Theme Logo alignment

You have recently helped with centering a logo in the full width of the header in your Quest theme (now labeled resolved) and this worked perfectly until I have just updated the theme and now my logo is back on the left of the header bar. 'contact bank' not sending confirmation emails, quest theme

Hi,

I am having trouble with my contact bank plugin for my contact page – once the form entries have been submitted, no confirmation emails are being sent to me (admin) or the customer.

I did receive support initially from the plugin developers who said that it was a theme issue. Please can somebody help me resolve the issue?
