I am using the gamico theme from Opal_WP and WPC Smart Wishlist for WooCommerce was an included plugin with it. I added in WPC Smart Quick View for WooCommerce and it’s displaying without any modifications to anything (thankfully, modifications are NOT my strong suit) — but I notice that no matter what icon I choose (an eye, a magnifying glass) that only a [ ] type box appears, and I am not sure how to get the selected one to show up. Any help is truly appreciated, thank you so much!

Conflict with YITH Quickview on mobile

Hi,

When opening the quickview on mobile , all images are shown fullwidth underneath each other, which can create a enormous long scroll to the product info. Somehow it doesn’t just show the main image and then a thumbnail slider. Could you please let me know if you have a fix for this?

Hey guys, right now, I am in the process of building a web store using WordPress and WooCommerce. Up to now, most stuff is working really well, however I am having one minor issue that bothers me and I couldn’t get solved so far.

The theme I am using (Polestar by purothemes) includes a “quickview” feature for products (that pops up a modal with core info etc. instead of having to open the product page itself. Not that I had intentionally looked for this feature but it is sort of nice…

The problem is: The store itself is supposed to be in another language (Swedish) than the back end (German). No problem – WordPress allows for setting different languages for both; additionally, I installed the Loco Translate plugin for fast and easy on-the-fly translations. All this works like a charm save one specific instance: When the quickview modal pops up, it displays the “add to baskets” button and a dropdown selection menu to choose between 2 different product sizes in German instead of Swedish. This behavior does not occur on the actual product page itself (there, everything in Swedish).

When wondering where this strange behavior might come from, I found out that it has to do with the language set for administration of the backend! Every time I changed this language, the faulty elements in the quickview modal were displayed in that respective language, as well.

This behavior seems to be independent of themes or plugins (installed and tried another theme that has this quickview feature – same result; installed another theme without this feature and used a quickview plugin for WooCommerce instead – same result). Also disabling the Loco Translate plugin yielded no improvement. So the idea seems natural that this is a bug within the WooCommerce plugin itself.

Any idea where this bug is and how to solve it? Any help is much appreciated!

Short desciption in pop up with with read more option

Respected sir/madam,

I will like to display a short description with a Read more tag so that It takes less space in the quick view pop-up. I have already written a custom code to display read more for a woocommerce product page. The following action is being added with the custom read more function.

add_action( ‘woocommerce_after_single_product’, ‘woocommerce_short_description_truncate_read_more’ );

If I could get information about the action handler for Quick view pop up short description then it might solve the issue with read more tag.

Is there any other way read more tag could be added to pop up short description?

Customizing the quickview in woocommerce

I would like to make 2 changes to the shop page of this store:

Display the full single product page in the quickview instead of the reduced version of it.
Show the quickview when the product image or the product title is clicked instead of linking to the single product page.

Is there any way of doing that inside of Ocean wp?

Botiga Theme on Quickview

Hi support! Im using multilingual and have succeded to translate all my website very easy and effective. However there is a specific “quick view” function that is avaible for all products. Iv tried to contact the authors of the theme that says its allready displayed in english in the theme files and shouldnt be a problem from their way.

They have tried to add a code snippet without results:
