I wanted to pass the hidden field random number value into the redirected URL. I found this https://wpmudev.com/forums/topic/field-to-generate-random-numbers/ online and followed the instructions as you can see on the images (I have uploaded https://gist.github.com/wpmudev-sls/5c8213b37d4ef2730c57e3822c3fe5a7 file to wp-content/mu-plugins?directory and change $form_id to my form id). Can you please help me with this? Here are the images: https://postimg.cc/gallery/grKBTsB

]]>For example, whoever buys product X (with a thousand units in stock), after confirming the payment, receives a random 3-digit number (between 000 and 999) that is not repeated. when I sell all units, I create a new product.
Thanks.
]]>I’m wondering if its possible to change the maximum length of the number when using the [random-number] tag? At the moment it is too big for what I’m trying to do. Hoping to be able to set it to say 5 digits for example?
Many thanks,
James

]]>I’ve made a webshop where my products must be “tickets”. It is a kind of lottery where you can buy tickets for 100Dkr, 500Dkr, 1000Dkr and a free pool. My problem is that I would like to have the tickets “assigned” with a random random number between 1 and 1000 when they are purchased. (This number must, of course, be hidden from the buyer). That way I can draw a winner between the nummber 1 and 1000, if all 1,000 tickets are sold, or when the lottery expires.
At this moment, the only number I’ve got is the order number, and as those of you who use woocoomerce know, it generates an order number from the database.
I have studied woocoommerce’s add-on options, and there is an option where you can get it to count orders sequentially from a start number and one at a time. But that’s not what I need.
Basically what I need is: a method where I can add a random number from 1 to 1000, for a ticket when it is purchased in my shop.
Are there anyine inhere who can point me in the direction of a plugin, or tell me how I can code it for my shop? Thanks.

See picture
thanks
I’m using this plugin to say something like “11 people used this information today.”
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/random-number-generator-shortcode/installation/
But the number renders at the top of the post using shortcode:
[randomnumgen min=” max=” numtogen=”]
I obviously want the number to render at a few different places within the post…any ideas how to fix this?
thank yew!
