]]>Two notices associated with the Mime.php
class of webp-express occur while updating my plugins (i.e. /wp-admin/update-core.php
page):
1) Notice: exif_imagetype(): Read error! in C:\Users\simon\Local Sites\delforge\app\public\wpincludes\functions.php on line 3051
2) Notice: Undefined variable: filePath in C:\Users\simon\Local Sites\delforge\app\public\wpcontent\plugins\webp-express\lib\classes\Mime.php on line 34
The first notice occurs because of the wp function wp_get_image_type()
call in the getMimeTypeOfMedia()
method of Mime.php
. On https://www.php.net/manual/fr/function.exif-imagetype.php, one can read:
By trial and error, it seems that a file has to be 12 bytes or larger in order to avoid a “Read error!”.
Would the proposed work-around be a solution?
The second notice occurs because of the undefined variable filePath
. It looks like this variable should actually be filename
.
I can provide the pdf with the full notices call stacks if needed.
Best regards,
Simon.

Any idea what they could be caused by? or how to root cause them?
Also what are the consequences of such errors?
Thank you!
]]>I checked out logo.php, and the referenced line is:
$getimagesize = getimagesize( $path );
(Background: I’m working on a site that someone else set up. They initially set it up using Make theme with Make Plus, but Make Plus has since been disabled.)
Since it’s intermittent, I’m not sure how to go about troubleshooting this one.
Any guidance on this appreciated.

Can someone please shed some light on this situation?

]]>My wordpress site has been working perfectly, but suddenly all I see on the front page is ERROR:// Can Not Read. The strange thing is that all the pages actually work fine – just as long as they are not designated as the front page. So while www.example.com displays the error, creating a copy of the front page at www.example.com/copy works fine.
So, replacing another page as the front page does not work, and neither does setting newest articles as the front page.
Ideas :)? The site is running WP 3.8.5 and a modified Twenty Eleven theme. I tried disabling plugins one by one but have yet to install any updates.
Best wishes,
Ans
The backup folder for an existing job changed, also resulting in former backups not being displayed under “Backups”. By changing it back in the job this problem seems to be resolved.
After I did this I ran the backup to see if everything works, but I get a warning a folder can’t be read. I didn’t change the permissions of this folder, it is excluded and I never had this warning before. Any ideas why this is happening?
