FB Likes Not Updating Multiple Errors After Debugging

I’m having a few issues with Facebook shares/likes. Sometimes it won’t work correctly on a post (doesn’t display an image or doesn’t display the custom meta description). The issue is generally fixed once the link is run through Facebook’s Open Graph Object Debugger. Lately, the FB likes have not been updating on a post.

The following errors generally (perhaps always) come up after debugging:

Like Button Warnings That Should Be Fixed
Admins And App ID Missing fb:admins and fb:app_id tags are missing. These tags are necessary for Facebook to render a News Feed story that generates a high click-through rate.
Like Button Tag Missing og:title is missing. The og:title meta tag is necessary for Facebook to render a News Feed story that generates a high click-through rate.
Like Button Tag Missing og:type is missing. The og:type meta tag is necessary for Facebook to render a News Feed story that generates a high click-through rate.
Like Button Tag Missing og:image is missing. The og:image meta tag is necessary for Facebook to render a News Feed story that generates a high click-through rate.

I’m using Really Simple Share plugin for social sharing. Other plugins include Jetpack and WP Super Cache (among others).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don’t know where to start in correcting the error.

Hi – great plugin.

But I’ve got a problem on a longer post that is paginated. The share buttons at the bottom come in immediately after the content. I’d like them to appear after the “next page” link.

I’ve moved the line code for page links to different positions in the loop on single.php tenmplate, but can’t solve the problem. It has got to come after and this always leaves the share buttons appearing first…

Is there any way around this?

I’d like:

Title of post
Content of post blah blah blah
Read next page
Share buttons

At the moment:

Not working with WooCommerce?

Hi,

I installed the plugin onto a new simple shop I am building.
WordPres 3.4.2
WooCommerce 1.6.5.2
Reaaly Simple Share: 2.5.10

I adjusted the settings, but nothing is shown on product posts.
It is showing on a regular post.

Should it work with WooCommerce? Or is there a known issue?

Pinterest Fails to Load in Loop

Hey Hey!

I am loading the big 4 (fb, twitter, pinterest, g+) in the loop and all are loading fine except pinterest which only loads on the first post.

I have the exclude from except option checked and I am inserting the buttons via the do_shortcode function.

Your plugin is causing 2 views for every page view in google analytics. Something in the way you have it set up in the most recent version. If I go to a page it registers both a view for the page, and then another view for the plugin. You must have implemented some sort of iframe or something with this new version, because its causing the above which leads to all of us having inaccurate statistics. As much as I like to see twice the views, it really messes up our ability to use statistics over a long period of time if they aren’t accurate. any help would be much appreciated!
