Thank you for the great plugin!
I am testing the free version of the plugin and hope to make it available to my customers in a week or two. While checking my server records, the file
/wp-content/plugins/refer-a-friend-for-woocommerce-by-wpgens/public/js/cookie.min.js?ver=1.3.0
has generated over 55,239 404 errors.
It doesn’t look normal to me. Is my installation that created the problem? Is this normal?
Thanks again!
]]>Allow me to give kudos to the developer(s) of this plugin. It simply adds another dimension to your store. I am pretty sure the users of this plugin are really finding it benefitting their online business already!
My only issue – customers (registered) are not receiving the notification email when their referrals make a successful purchase.
Yes, everything else works just fine. New coupons are added and can be seen on the dashboard, coupons are working perfectly fine… just the email notification would complete it.
I am using Storefront basic theme, with simple CSS tweaks. Host is Godaddy.
Looking forward to the support!
Thanks,

I have since removed the plugin from the site but this basically makes the plugin unusable.
Thanks,

]]>I Just want to confirm one scenario if you don’t mind.
Can an existing customer (ie: one that has previously made any purchase from our site) make use of a referral code?
So, if a customer signed up last year, has made numerous purchases, and then the same existing customer gets a referral code from a friend and tries to use that referral code (which he/she has never used before) – will they be able to receive a discount? Or does it only work on first time buyers?
If you could please just confirm the above, that would be fantastic. Thanks
]]>I recently purchased your refer a friend plugin hoping it would be a solution to a referral program I’ve been wanting to do. One of the major reasons on purchasing the premium version is to give the “friend” a discount on their first purchase. I see that is an option, but I have to generate a coupon on the woocommerce store. This is not a good fix, because if someone decides to post about the coupon you can still apply it.
Example:
1. I refer a my website to friend using my referral link.
2. Friend notices the coupon at check out and decides to just post that on facebook or some sort of coupon website even.
3. Everyone now can use the 1st time purchase coupon without necessarily being referred by a specific customer.
Is this something that can be fixed? I have turned on to only allow the 1st time coupon once per user, but that doesn’t prevent people logging out or the coupon becoming common knowledge.
]]>there is a new improved free version of AF Tell a Friend, called now FS Tell a Friend (captcha, stats, more flexible for customisation, etc). So, please look for FS Tell a Friend plugin on www.ads-software.com.
]]>is there any option that we could have set the expiry upon recieving by the customer in days?
let’s say for example when the customer recieves the coupon code it will expire by 60 days?
Thanks
