delete_posts
and delete_published_posts
.
We then use a simple link to allow users to delete their own posts:
<a onclick="return confirm('Are you sure you want to delete this scanner?')" class="btn btn-outline-danger w-100" href="<?php echo get_delete_post_link( $post->ID ) ?>">Delete Custom Scanner
Unfortunately, this only works for admins. For any other users, it redirects to the home page without deleting the post.
Does anyone know what is incorrect here? Thank you!
I’m trying to find out a way to implement a feature to the directory of Job Board listings. Essentially, the client wants any listing who’s Posting End Date (field) has been passed by the current date.
I can’t seem to find this feature available currently. Any suggestions on how to make this happen?
We found a plugin, but it’s not working exactly how we would like.
Additionally, the client would like that any job posting that expires send a notification email that notifys the job poster, and while I know this would be based on conditional logic, posting end date isn’t available to select here.
Thanks!
I am having some trouble finding custom CSS to achieve the following in the twenty seventeen (child) theme:
the front page shows all posts, the other menu entries are just single pages.
I would very much like to remove the POSTS tile AND make the category as wide as
the other pages.
I can hide the POSTS tile on the left with:
h2.page-title {
display: none;
}
but this leaves an empty white space on the left, how can I make the category (NOT the single posts) as wide as simple pages?
thanks for your input,
geb
Wondering if someone can help me here for a company’s website. They have a section on the homepage which has the current ‘ASX announcements’ which are linked to an external page titled ASX Announcements. I have been asked to delete some of the announcements just off the homepage but not on the actual announcements page..essentially they want to highlight the better announcements.
Is there any way to delete some announcements off that home page area but still keep them on the original seperate page to which they were posted, or will they have to be deleted entirely because it updates based on that page?
Thanks,
J.

However, it is currently defaulting to including the blog posts. Why and how do I change this?
I am currently working on this site:
www.capitalcultureclub.com
As you can see at the bottom there a “Leave a Reply” section.
How do I remove that?
In settings, under reading, I have the static page selected instead of posts. So “Leave a reply” shouldn’t really be there. Or should it?
Someone please help. Thanks
