I need a running poll for use on my Book Club’s website. What I am trying to do is to create a multi-answer poll that always stays live, where people can change their answers any time to showcase the current mood of our club.

The book club poll will help to show what all our current member’s favorite Genres are -at any given time- and what their least favorite genres are. But since I want the poll to remain live for members to view and change, I also want to be able to remove user’s answers – should they quit and are no longer a part of the book club.

Most of what I need is already available, but I am unsure if removing a member & their poll answers is possible??

I’d like to get rid of the “Leave a Reply” that appears on the bottom of the page that lists all my forums. i edited the page and unchecked “Comments” and “Discussions” – but it still shows up. ?

Hi all,

I was creating my child theme in MAMP and all was well but when I uploaded my child theme to my site the “leave a reply” box appeared on single posts; see link:

Previously I created no php file to handle this and would like suggestions. I’m getting a bit confused by the forums and want to know if I should edit a child theme single, comment, etc php file. If you could be as specific as possible with the steps and code I would greatly appreciate it.

I would like to remove all comments and replies on a WordPress hosted site, I’m not sure if this is at all possible.

I have a self hosted site and it works a treat but I can’t get it to work on my site hosted by WordPress.

I’m using Twenty Eleven as my theme and have clicked all check-boxes relating to replies, plus all options in the screen options section.

Hope anyone can help.
