My last question: How can I remove the shadow from letters? In some cases the shadow is useful, in some cases it is unnecessary.

How can I influence the appearance of shadow?

I tried searching around the forum but I’m unable Does anyone know how I can remove/disable this border and shadow around the entire product. Also the hover effect should be disabled as well.

I am creating a custom header image to put over my esports teams website but I seem to be having an issue with a shadow to the left and right of the 1000 x 150pixels header any suggestions?

I have looked all over the web, but still can’t seem to find out how to remove the shadow around the images I put in the page. It’s a box shadow that surrounds all of the images with a small border.

I am having problems removing the grey shadow from around images in the twenty twelve theme. I’ve done lots of reading and tried many different things that seem to have worked for other people, but nothing seems to work for me. I’ve also tried to change things using firebug, but no matter what I do, the shadow will not go away.
Can anyone help please? The blog is https://blog.theweddingcompany.ie and I have a custom child theme which I’m using over the twenty twelve theme. I am editing the css using the jetpack plugin.
Any help you can give would be really appreciated.

Customizr child theme and remove header box shadow

Hello there.
I am very new to the whole wordpress experience, and I have a tone of questions, so please, take it easy on me :D.

So, I have two main questions:
1. How to create a customizr child theme.
I found several guides online and quite a few threads in this forum, but I still can’t get a grip on that.
I tried to follow this guide, but I simply can’t find any way to create a new folder in the wp-content/themes. I tried to create this folder via Appearance>Themes, but I can’t find my way through. Obviously I am doing something wrong. Any ideas what it is?

2. I would like to remove the shadow from the header box (the one that includes the social links and menu). Any help on that would be much appreciated too.

Hi there,

I installed related posts on my site, and selected ‘Vertical/Large’ theme, and tried to add my own custom CSS an example is here: https://ifyoubuildit.com.au/2013/07/king-street-gallery-website/

The custom CSS is below:
ul.related_post li img {
border-radius:0px;
box-shadow:none;
}

As you can see I’m trying to remove the radius and shadow, but nothing is working. How do you recommend customising this plugin?
