Since tonight the elementor plugin keeps deleting/removing itself from my website. I have tried to use back-ups of my website, but it does not work. It just keeps doing the same thing.
Does anybody know why this is happening. Is there a major bug in the plugin???
With kind regards,
Sergio
]]>I now have continuous messages telling me that my WordPress site (with its old domain) is unresponsive, now back online, now unresponsive, now back online. The website the domain points to works fine but obviously Jetpack needs to have the domain removed.
Only, I cannot find any way to do so. How can I remove a domain from Jetpack’s settings, when that software and site have been deleted and the domain now points to a non-Wordpress site?
]]>However, I’ve found a serious bug. When I try to delete the plugin after disabling it, an error message appears saying:
“You cannot delete a plugin while it is active on the main site.”
If I delete the plugin manually (by deleting the folder), it seems to break the mail log functionality and no other similar plugin will work. This forces me to reinstall the plugin to get email logging to work again.
Tested on plugin v1.4 and wordpress 6.1.1
Thanks.

We don’t want to install the Jetpack plugin but we want to use WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin.
how to remove the banner without deactivating the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax Plugin?
Hope you can help us
]]>As the title suggests, I just want to remove the “For your reference, your order details are shown below.” text from Customer Note Email. I checked the email template, however, I didn’t find the text string there.
Any help is appreciated.
Kind regards

I would like for the links or at least the domain name to be removed because of obvious reasons.
At the first question I provided a link because it was necessary to do so otherwise I would not like to post it, but this was the only way. If it is possible you can put it in the “page I need help with…” field.
Because I know this is agains your policy I would at least like for my woocommerce status to be removed as it poses a security threat to me, because it contains all of the plugins, files and other critical information about my site. Also your moderators posted some links that direct to my site (not my fault) which also increases the number of times my domain is metioned online, and is located higher in search results. Furthermore both topics addressed the same issue and none of them resolved it, so it does not even make sense to have it posted as it is not helpful to anyone.

]]>I ran a backup before doing so. I have little knowledge about this stuff but am young so I can learn. I spent 14 hours trying to fix this issue. My site is down and I can only use the BlueHost features (File Manager, phpMyAdmin). Before and after running the backup, I have the same error in /public_html/wp-admin/error-log/:
——————————–
[[…]] PHP Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
[[…]] PHP Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
[[…]] PHP Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/home3/[user…]/public_html/wordfence-waf.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php74/root/usr/share/pear’) in Unknown on line 0
——————————–
(the […] is date, time, and username)
I tried to do the steps you have on your website,
“1. Remove extended protection manually [Learn more]
2. Remove the “wordfence” plugin folder located in wp-content/plugins
3. Remove the wflogs folder located in wp-content
4. Remove wordfence-waf.php located in the root of you WordPress installation
5. Remove all Wordfence related database tables from the database, using for example phpMyAdmin.”
https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/remove-or-reset/
https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/optimizing-the-firewall/#removing-the-optimization
In doing this, I have the following issues/questions:
1. I don’t know in what ways Sucuri interacted with any changes to WordPress Core and if Step 1 is complete, or what challenges there could be.
2. Does it make sense that a manual import of my backup still have the same error (error posted above)?
2. I am really uneducated about this and cannot find “.htaccess, .user.ini, and php.ini, all in the site’s main directory.”
3. “4. Remove wordfence-waf.php located in the root of you WordPress installation” I don’t know where this is. First, is this in File Manager or phpMyAdmin? I do a search in both and they are not there. I find wordfence.php but that is in the wordfence folder under plugins.
4. After performing the backup, it still has the error. Is it easier to erase the problem by erasing things or fixing it? How do I do either because 14 hours of stress is taking it’s toll. My website was not Active and I do not make money from it, it is meant to be a blog.
5. Will my website come back on immediately after performing the fix or should I wait a few minutes before freaking out?
I duly appreciate any help. I am new but I already have a lot of respect for what you do.
