Events not displaying correctly on calendar

Plugin rev. 3.5.12 was not displaying newly created events, or events in previous months or future month. Also, editing the events didn’t seem to help. Clearing the cache didn’t seem to help. I decided to look for any settings that might be applicable. I don’t know if it’s related, but on the calendar page, the field “Search keyword” field had a range of numbers in in, I don’t know why. I cleared it and re-saved the page, and now the calendar page is displaying correctly.

I just thought I’d post this in case it was an issue with a recent plugin update and others were having the same issue.

The event started today and is every Thursday so I entered 10 times and accepted the end date of December 28th, but no matter what I do the event is showing every day for the next ten days. I keep getting this error –

Event hidden from public view. This event ends after the next occurrence begins. Events must end before the next occurrence begins.

Event end date: December 28, 2023 1:00 am. Next occurrence starts: November 9, 2023 8:21 pm

One annual event showing, but no others

Adding (repeating) events stopped working

unfortunately adding events stopped working, two cases:

a. if i add an event on a given date and want to repeat this event on every fourth thursday of the month the program will not let me do this, it suggests a wrong repeating day; changing the given date does not change the repeating suggested day of the month;

b. after i added a single event and add another date for this event, the program says: event is added but if i go yo my browser the added date does not show; going back to my calendar it only shows the first event, not the added event;

I have either encountered a serious bug with the plugin or I am totally missing something…I hope it’s the latter!

I just noticed that when I publish an event that has a repeated instance in the same day (but different hour), only one actually shows up in the calendars. For example, for this event, there is a 1:30pm and 7:30pm showing on November 14, but only the 7:30pm shows on the calendar despite me having entered both under the “Event Repeating” detail.

Please help…Thank you!

Repeating Events are not listing correctly

New user – I’m asking a lot of questions, but I’m so close to getting this plugin to work!

My issue is with Events that are Repeating over several days. My current example is a virtual film festival that is running continuously April 16 through April 19. On the Date & Time setting, the dates are April 16-19 and the “all day” box is checked.

I am creating test pages with List, Grid, Tile, and Full Calendar views.

In Full Calendar, the Event shows up just as it should: on April 16, 17, 18, and 19, and no further days.

But in List, Grid, and Tile, no matter how I set up the Event back end, either 1) the Event doesn’t appear at all, or 2) the Event keeps appearing past its ending date.

I have screenshots of the back end and the front end of all the options I have tried. I can get these to you. I really hope I’m missing something idiot-simple-obvious!

I deactivated all my plugins except for two that I can’t deactivate without losing all my data. It didn’t help. My WordPress theme is Enfold, and I am running the latest version. I am running WordPress version 5.3.2 instead of 5.4 because 5.4 is creating bugs with Enfold that the Enfold team is working to fix.

Google Calendar repeating events do not repeat after import

Hi Support,

We have imported our Google Calendar events to our All-In-One-Event-Calendar plugin.
The events are successfully imported but there are issues with the repeating events.
The “Repeat” checkbox is enabled for the imported repeating events, but checking the calendar on the front-end, the events do not show on the dates where they should repeat.

So what we did, is we manually uncheck the “Repeat” checkbox, save it, check again the checkbox, and save again. This fixes the issue.
This means we need to manually re-save those repeating events we have imported from Google for it to work, which is really a big issue.
Just imagine we have tons of repeating events in Google Calendar, we imported them to our All-In-One-Event-Calendar, only to find out we need to manually re-save the repeating events.

Can you please look into this issue? Please help. Thanks!

Event repeating with custom days

Hello,
I am trying to add a single day – repeating event that starts at a particular date and repeats on custom days. e.g.. the first time the event happens on 4th March, 2019 and then again the same event happens on 8th Mar,2019, 10th Mar, 2019 and 21st Mar,2019.
To create this what I am doing is adding event start and end date as 4th March,19 and selecting it as all day event. Then i am repeating this event with the ‘custom days’ parameter and selecting the days on which the event is supposed to repeat. Further on the ‘end repeats’ parameter I am putting the last day the event is going to happen, here it is 21st March,2019. Now in the calendar view I am using the monthly view skin with modern style as selected. Here I am supposed to see only the 4 days of March to have this particular event. Instead I am seeing all the days between 4th and 21st March as having the event.
Please note I am doing this in a fresh installation of wordpress 5.1 with twentysixteen theme and no other plugins. Also I have MEC lite ver 3.4.5 installed. I have already gone through the documentation but did not find an answer to this problem. Here I am attaching the screenshots of the event creation page and the calendar view.

Posterboard should display only one instance of a Recurring Events

We use Posterboard view on the front page of our site by way of a short-code (ai1ec view=”pasteboard” etc), with a maximum 5 events shown so it doesn’t go on too long. We want to display only 1 instance of recurring event and not repeatative along with other events. Currently it displays repeating events which is not user friendly and hiding all other events in that category. Is there a way to solve this?
