Anways maybe someone here knows a general way to either Completely Remove the header image.
OR, alternatively to reduce the weird grey-transparent OVERLAY
AND, in case keep using the header image, SOME way to possibly RESIZE IT.
Why would themes EVER make such a HUGE banner it covers almos the ENTIRE visible page on PC, with the double menu already on top of it… Super weird choice but ok, at least put something in the documentation.
ps i use a PLUGIN to put the header image, I tried several but none give me any option to change the size of it. I tried also via CSS of course but either the entire menu also disappear., or nothing at all happens. Also tried Yellowpencil APP but result is not usable either.
Thanks for any and all help!! much apreciated. regards from Olón!

If someone can take a look at my site and tell me what CSS might work to do that I would be very grateful!!!

]]>I’ve been trying to resize my header image from 1920 x 500 to 1920 x 300 on this page:

However this is accomplished, I need the theme to remain responsive. I’ve tried messing with the CSS according to other threads I’ve found and uploading a differently sized image, all to no avail.
Any help is appreciated!
]]>1. The font size changed, making the header quite small. Fixing it is possible, but it doesn’t seem to resize proportionally.
2. The break between the Site Title and the Tagline is broken, so the Tagline ends up at the end of the Site Title, whereas before it was below it. The sizing/re-sizing issue is also present with the Tagline.

Any thoughts or help appreciated.

The header image which is set at 1260px x 240px. I have tried changing it in a number of places but to no effect.
I would really like it to be black.
Anyone know how I can do this?
Thanks.

where the image is big with text and hyperlinks I can add to it. Is there a plug in I can use?
here is the code I currently have in my style.css:
.entry-background {
background-position: center;
background-size: contain;
height: 620px;
left: 0;
padding: 0px;
position: relative;
width: 100%;
margin-top: 55px;
the problem with this is the background repeats itself. If I change it to “cover” the picture is then stretched out and pixelated. If I add in no repeat background, it just cuts off part of the picture and shows white instead.
any ideas? Or plug-ins?

My client doesn’t want the drop shadow lines to extend full width, but rather span just the ends of the content. From my research it looks like I need to assign those axises with negative values, but can’t seem to get it working.
This also requires the header (and due to my customizations, the footer as well) to be confined to 980px. When I’ve messed with it, it aligns to the left instead of centered….. I’m terrible at coding (clearly) otherwise this all would probably be an easy fix.
Any advice?
Best,
Natalie

]]>I have read some posts about this, but have been unable to make anything work here. I have created a child style.css and also a functions.php file with smaller height for the header image, however, that didn’t work. . . navigation bar simply overlapped the header image on mobile device.
I’m guessing I need to provide a smaller header image for mobile? If so, where do I put it?
