Large size not optimizing

Hi,
We have our large size in the Worpress config set with a max-width and max-height of 2048px.
In the Imagify config panel, under Files Optimization the large size is checked.
But when we upload already resized 2048px images, they’re not optimized by the Imagify. Any reasons why Imagify is not generating a 2048px version?

Here are the files it generates:

myimage-1024×497.jpg
myimage-1024×497.jpg.webp
myimage-600×600.jpg
myimage-600×600.jpg.webp
myimage-768×373.jpg
myimage-768×373.jpg.webp
myimage.jpg
myimage.jpg.webp

The original file myimage.jpg is there, but there are no optimized version for it like myimage-2048x…..jpg

Any ideas how we can fit it?

Dragging/resizing columns no longer works

Hi there,

I was working on my website last night just fine. This morning when I resumed editing, dragging/resizing columns no longer works. In addition, content has moved on its own – hence why I wanted to fix it by dragging and resizing. This seems to be an issue even when adding new blocks. The line simply goes red and will not move. I have not amended any plugins and have already tried to close everything out and re-open it.

Can you programmatically set inline images to a new registered image size?

I have a WordPress instance that contains the contents of 3 other WordPress instances that got merged in. Each WordPress had its own custom image sizes. When the WordPress CLI Importer did its thing, the attachments were all downloaded and assigned properly but the URLs of the images in the content are for a size variation that doesn’t exist on the new site. When I click into the broken image within the WordPress editor, WordPress automatically finds the image and sets it to the closest corresponding thumbnail size that was generated — which is great. I don’t want to have to click into the broken images for every single post when they number in the thousands, however. Is there a way to get WordPress to set all the embedded images to their new resized URL?

When I create any new ‘on image’ icon it changes the size of my product on catalogue page – it shrinks it to a smaller image with a grey wide border. I have tried sale, out of stock, badges at top or bottom etc and they all show smaller (see screenshot link)

Photos resizing concerns

I’ve encountered an issue with photo resizing in the gallery plugin. Despite uploading images, they don’t seem to resize correctly, leading to stretching or pixelation. How can I ensure proper resizing of images within the gallery plugin? Thank you!

sticky header not resizing properly in width

Hi folks,

I recognize a funny behavior when resizing my desktop browser. At a certain width, sticky header stops resizing and leaves white space to the right. When I choose another menu point, it is fully displayed. However, if I continue resizing the page, sticky header stops again resizing itself properly.

I don’t use legacy mode, but if I use it, sticky header resizes without any issues. Legacy mode, however, has an issue with my side bar, so I don’t like to finally switch to it.

Has anyone come across this and found a solution?

Header Buttons Collapsing When Resizing

Hey there, so I’m having a bit of a problem with the header on my site when switching from computer to computer. I mainly do a lot of my work on my home PC but when I’m traveling I like to use a Surface Pro 9. When I’m on my Surface Pro the “Become a Patient” and “Patient Portal” buttons in the header change (like they collapse) to where I can’t see the text on those said buttons but I need to see the text. Is there any that I can change tha so it’s not collapsing and I can still see the text?

I’ve talked to some other people about this issue and it seems to be a scaling issue due to the size of my screen on the Surface Pro. It seems that the folks that have a smaller screen size are having this problem. When looking into it the only thing that I could find is when the width size is at 1500px the site starts condensing itself. The theme I’m using is Medikon. Thanks in advance!

Disabling resizing for administrators

Hello,

Your plugin looks very promising. I am building a multi-user site and have a simple question: is it possible to disable resizing for images uploaded by an administrator?

The width limit for images uploaded by contributors and users with custom roles should be 1536 pixels. But sometimes the administrator might need to upload a page hero/header image, let’s say 1920 pixels wide. The administrator will act responsibly and scale and optimize the image before uploading.

Is there a way to handle it, with some special function, either by disabling the resizing completely for admins, or setting a higher size limit for them?
