Two new installations on different domain names get the same error. They are both on the same hosted server. I’ve owned the domains for a while so I don’t think it is DNS propagation. It’s the settings I usually use, PHP7.4, SSL certificates installed.
Your site is unable to reach www.ads-software.com at 198.143.164.251, and returned the error: cURL error 6: Could not resolve host: api.www.ads-software.com
The site looks fine, but I can’t access plugins and themes. I assume I could just download and I know I can bypass it in config, but perhaps this problem will cause long term issues if it’s not fixed?
]]>My buffer account seems to be authenticating properly, but I get an error that reads:
“Couldn’t resolve host ‘api.bufferapp.com’. Some functionality on this screen may not work correctly.”
Please help.
Thanks.

]]>trying 4.5 update
]]>Today i tried to access my multisite subdomain and it doesnt load.
The last 4 weeks the only thing i did is upload some new posts on my main site. Nothing more.
The subdomain was working perfectly.
Today when i tried to log ot my subdomain through dashboard I get the message “the site url is not available” ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED.
I didnt change anything to dns, or urls.
On the network admin i can see the subdomain and all the settings correct.
I tried to do a network update and i get the message:
Warning! Problem updating https://eshop.mysite.gr. Your server may not be able to connect to sites running on it. Error message: Couldn’t resolve host ‘eshop.mysite.gr’
That happened out of the blue. Last week i was publishing posts on my subdomain without any issue
Looking forward
]]>Several essential plugins have stopped working today, including Jetpack, WangGuard, Google Analytics, even WordPress News on my dashboard. All say some form of “Could not resolve host”
I have no idea where to start to see where this connection error is coming from, whether it’s a plugin issue, or something else. My website front end appears to be working fine, except for users are unable to log in to post comments (I use OneAll Social Login). I even tried registering as a new user in a different browser and though my account is able to be activated, logging in is still not happening. I can comment as admin, however.
I do have different errors showing up for each plugin.
WordPress news shows the following:
RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Couldn’t resolve host ‘www.ads-software.com’
RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Couldn’t resolve host ‘feeds.feedburner.com’
WangGuard says this:
“a connection to wangguard.com can not be established at this time.”
Under Server connectivity it says: Unable to find WangGuard servers.
A DNS problem or firewall is preventing all access from your web server to wangguard.com. WangGuard cannot work correctly until this is fixed.
Jetpack says:
“Couldn’t resolve host ‘dashboard.wordpress.com'” along with other data that is too sensitive to post here.
Google Analytics did have an error come up but now it’s not showing but the plugin is still not working.
Please advise what steps I should next take to fix this.
