By mistake i clicked “Restore to current point” in the Jetpack Backup app.
My website is now restoring.
It’s quite a large website, and I really need to the the restoring! But I dont know how to.

]]>I needed my host to re-install my wordpress. I did a full backup with Updraft.
However, I am getting an error when trying to Restore my ‘Uploads’. It says: “There has been a critical error on this website.”
The only thing I can think of is that I have noticed that after my host re-installed my wordpress, the i was assigned a NEW ‘Primary Domain’ address (‘…xxx.ccf.myftpupload.com’) which is different to the old one.
Perhaps the Updraft Backup contains different address information?
If so – I have no idea how to fix this in my Backup. Can anyone please help ?
(the Text and pages all seemed to restore Ok, just not the Uploads, or the plugins)
]]>I have done the following with some issues at the end:
- I have backed up a live website and restored it locally.
Everything was fine so far. - I then made this locally changed website database live again, i.e. performed a restore.
- Afterwards there were two major problems:
1.) Some page names were completely removed and instead only “No title” was displayed, I don’t know what could be the reason here.
2.) All “special characters”, in my case German “Umlauts”, where exchanged with a question mark symbol:
This is probably due to the fact that the target database has a slightly different character set, which I found out from a competitor product that does not have such problems (because it is probably converted automatically?)

Today I screwed up by irrevocablly changing the theme of my website, so I wanted to restore a backup from a year ago. However, I recieve an error code that says “The source url (https://www.example.com/cms) doesn’t match the current url (https://example.com). The url is the same, but due to the /cms in the source link, it is concidered as a migration
and not included in the free version.

]]>Everything was mixed up and ruined when I was designing my website; I wanted to restore the whole site so that the design would be the same. I restored one of my old backups, all included (themes, plugins, database, other,etc.). When the restoring was finished, I viewed the site and it’s now a complete white screen. A warning popped out saying: Astra theme does not exist.
I don’t understand; everything was done with restoring, but now there’s a huge problem with the whole website. Is there any way someone can help with issue? ]]>

I want to try and restore some backups from my previous installation (no problem making them), but now get above error. How do I fix this? Using php 7.4.21
]]>This afternoon I made a restoring point and after I installed and upgraded some plugins I decided to restore the website to my previous point (this afternoon). After a “Restore failed” I click on ‘Continue the restoring’ and after that my website has 0 plugins.
What I have to do now? I just want to restore my website to the previous point.
