Creating a block with reusable content

We need to create a block that can allow us to pick from a list of possible entries, each having a name, picture, link, etc, and show those selected items on the page.

We want to avoid having to manually enter the data to each post when we use this block, and be able to input it once for each of the options, and then be able to simply pick which ones appear on the page.

Is that possible?

I’m using it much in conjunction with WP All Import to make the maintenance of more then thousand (woocommerce) products much more easy.

Sad to read, that it’s mainly designed to be used for lomisoft internal projects since there is no plugin out there which is open source and does exactly what one would expect.

Wonder if there will be the possibility to use the Gutenberg editor inside the plugin as vice-versa use the Gutenberg editor to call Reusable Content & Text Blocks?

Reusable Content/Text Snippets

I would LOVE if WP supported the concept of reusable content that I can insert into my posts ala a signature at the end of emails. Maybe this already exists, but I’ve been looking and can’t find anything except similar queries that are 4-5 years old.

When writing certain posts, I type up the same snippet of text every time, and would love if I could create a snippet of reusuable html that I could incorporate via shortcode.

I saw previous post (several years old) that mentioned this concept, calling it a “bit”, but I couldn’t see any evidence that something like this has been developed.

does anyone else see this as useful, or are there plugins that address this?

I am a new user of WordPress and is mainly going to use it as a semi CMS. I was wondering if there is a possibility of “reusable content”? I mean, a plugin where you could define that if I write e.g. {signature} then a nice signature with my picture will be written out, kindly like a macro. I think this would be usefull in both content areas and templates.

Is it already available?
