I’m looking forward to add an RSS plugin to my new News/Blog website, I see that the Feedzy plugin should do the job for me, but not sure for the feature I’m looking for ?
– I want to load the half of article from the RSS source, the post will open in my website, I add “Lear More” in the middle and redirect the article to the source.
– I also want to display the source author in my website news article
– I also want to add the source article using RSS to my post with the image ? I already tested the free version with #item_image, but I didn’t get the image. I got it using the shortcode ? Can I have the image with the article with the free version, or it part only to the pro version ?
Thank you
MUST HAVE:
1. Pull from an RSS feed
2. To a post on the WordPress site as a post
3. Pull in artwork or at least the featured mage from the RSS feed
4. Contains a link to the external site the RSS feed is pulling from. (So if someone wants to read the original story over there, they can. As I am using someone else’s work, I feel obligated to give credit and a live link.)
Would be nice to have:
1. The post it creates should be able to be toggled to a specific category OR Draft
2. Should pull the entire post, but an excerpt only might be acceptable.
Yes, I did try a few plug-ins already. Of the three popular ones I tried, NONE did all of the MUST HAVES. Or at least I couldn’t get a required feature to work. One of them did everything–except I could never find where it was hiding the posts it was pulling in. When I viewed them directly in the aggregator’s list of pulled-in posts, they rocked–but were nowhere else to be found OTHER THAN the list of pulled-in posts.
So, I have tried finding one that works, and if you recommend one that I tried… I’ll go back and try it again
But, I need feedback on this.
Thanks!

Today in a reply to question asked by me, Google news team said that I’m using both
and
tags in the feed.
“We also see that you are using both
and
tags in the feed. Instead, we suggest that you use any one of the tags. If both
and
tags are present in the feed, Google News crawls the tag with the least number of characters.”
Is it possible to to edit feed as said by Google News Team
I have a few questions about the plugin.
As you know, the basis of any podcast is an RSS-feed.
1. How does your plugin create RSS-feeds?
2. Where are the RSS-feeds settings located?
Respectfully,
Farid Taziev.
This is one example of several feeds that will not work with your plugin, although if you plug them into a web based reader they work fine.
Thgis: https://feeds.mashable.com/Mashable
works here:
https://www.netvibes.com/subscribe.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffeeds.mashable.com%2FMashable
but not in yours
I have several other feeds I would like to diaply with the same problem, yet I have many other feeds that do work. I can;t figure out why some jsut won’t work with your plugin.
Help?
