Revolution Plugin width with RT-Theme

So I’m wanting to reduce the width of just my Revolution slider so I can add a sidebar on the right of it. But the only option seems to be to reduce ALL the modules’ width – and they all end up looking squished to the left– because all i see is the “Template Builder >Page Layout > Right Sidebar” option.
Is there a way to just reduce just the width of the slider and not the rest of components of the page?

Menu conflict with RT-Theme 10

Hi!

I have installed the Post Types Order (PTO) plugin with RT-Theme 10. This enabled me to re-order the products on my site manually like I needed to do – so far so good.

However, that plugin has introduced a problem with disappearing left-hand menu on the product category pages used by RT Theme 10:

– When I click on a product category, the left hand menu disappears.
– The products are still listed, so I can click on a product thumbnail and move on to a product page.
– When the product page opens, the menu appears again and works fine.

Disabling the PTO plugin makes the menu work again.

So: there is evidently some sort of conflict between the category pages of this theme, and the PTO plugin.

The last 5 sub-menu items under the Products page are Categories (the first one is a static page). And as you can see, clicking on any one of those categories causes the menu to disappear, such as here:

(It also seems like load speed has increased somewhat after installing the PTO plugin, but that’s another story.)

FYI: I have tried deactivating ALL other plugins on the site, but that did not resolve the problem.

Text being added after body…

Hello, I have spent most of my day on this problem, and can not find the solution.

The problem is that there is hidden text showing up after the body tag and before my first div-id

I can not figure out where it is coming from, however I have narrowed it down to the theme.

The theme is an RT-Theme, and when I change it to the twenty tweleve theme the text disappears. I’m guessing the code is being called by a script somewhere, and being told to insert itself after the body tag.

This is the website, https://customdoorshop.com/, the text in question can only be seen by viewing the html. It was visible via IE, but as far as I can tell it can’t be seen with any browser at this point.

I really just want to close the job out for this client, and rebuilding their site is not in the cards for the price I gave them to fix it.

I use RT-Theme 17 and understand it is a problem with the contact form.

[Plugin: xili-language] language navigation menu : conflict with my theme ?

I’d like to have my website both in English and French, with two different menus and small flags to make it easy to move from one to another. I downloaded xili language, but it seems I can’t have a bilingual navigation menu.

When I go to xili language settings, the message I read is
” Nav menu: Home links in each language
This theme doesn’t contain active Nav Menu. List of languages cannot be automatically added.
See Appearance Menus activation settings.
Theme’s nav menu items settings”

Though, I did import my po and mo files…
The theme I use is RT theme 16, and I asked them how to deal with this problem, they couldn’t give an answer.

Do I have to create a a new file for the navigation menu ?

I did research, but I am new in WP and totally lost right now… Help, please !

Homepage Slider problems

Alright, so I have an interesting problem that I haven’t been able to find an answer to. On my website, I have a slider widget (I use the RT-Theme Slider Widget inside the Home Page Slider) and it worked just fine until I updated everything to the newest update. I did this because I was unable to reorder and drag my other widgets around on my homepage to reorganize my site. Now, I’m left with a slider widget that doesn’t slide the images, or let me click on the arrows to advance to the next slide, either. I can move the individual slides up and down the widget box, and the one on the top will display on my website no problem, link working a-ok, but I can’t get it to cycle through the whole thing. Is this a compatibility issue? Is there a new slider I can get that works the same as this widget? I’ve seen plugins for individual posts, but that isn’t quite what I need it for.

This is my website: Promote in Tandem The big picture front and right/center is what is supposed to be cycling, but it just doesn’t do it anymore. Help?
