rtMedia Media Upload Issue

Hi, just noticed this issue which has been present for several versions (checked by rolling back to at least 1.57). when creating a Post in Buddypress using rtMedia and uploading media, the delete button (small cross) isn’t visible. The delete function still exists where the button is meant to be. When the Push Notification plugin is deactivated, the small cross returns.

I wrote the function to hide the html source (rtMedia)

Disable YouTube Embed On Buddypress Activity Feed

Hello Everyone.

I am making a Facebook style community website.

I’ve been trying to disable the ability to watch YouTube videos on the buddypress activity feed/elsewhere.

I need to just have an image preview (just like facebook functions) where users can click that and be directed to YouTube.

Ive tried the Disable Embeds plugin and it does not work for me.

Any one have any idea?

Hello, how are the additional tabs configured? The RTmedia (plugin) and the Wpdiscuz integrate buddypress (plugin), create tabs and sub-tabs AND EVERYTHING IS OK, but how do I select one by default? I have seen that I can order tabs but that does not solve it because I cannot select a predefined one since it is not in the list, I tried to put it with URL and putting example.com/members/{username}/media but it does not work, it does not show anything, any suggestion?

Post only if image uploaded

When a user creates a post he can write something down and upload an image/media with rtmedia plugin.

However he can just write something and post it without uploading any image/media. How can I disallow posting if no image is uploaded?

I’m having a few issues I thought I would make one thread:

– On mobile view, statuses get cut off to the next line mid-word. Can a better word wrap be added somehow?
– Photos are showing in activity feed but just part of the photo shows and clicking the thumbnail doesn’t link to full-size. It looks bad.
– I don’t see privacy options on the posts. Buddypress has that out of the box. Is Youzify hiding this out-of-the-box feature to sell it on premium tier?
– I liked rtMedia plugin for photos and they displayed nicely on activity page. Is this incompatible with Youzify?

This plugin works a charm. Exactly what I needed and the support is second to none!! The Transcoder team even helped me sort out functionality of the plugin which was being affected by my bad website configurations. rtMedia Lightbox Comment Issue

There is a problem with the lightbox in the rtMedia activity section.
The problem is in the part where users comment. When users make comments, the articles they write are not read. I think it can be solved with CSS code but I don’t know what code to write. Can you help me?

What I want is, as can be seen in the link, I want the background of that area to be black and the text to be white.`

Hi Team,
I am using rtmedia with BuddyPress and BuddyChat and other plugins too but due to rtmedia my website is very slow and on mobile, the experience is worst. The first response time is 12.5sec on mobile.. Although the server response time is good.

When I check the graph then the element which creates videos is too large and that is impacting very much.

Let me know how can I resolve this issue.
