I can’t believe I’m the only one having this problem, and I feel like i must be doing something stupid, but the page anchors I’ve created on this page:

It works in firefox; this problem is repeatable on other machines than my development machine, after the caches have been cleared.

What am I doing wrong?

I”m using wordpress thesis 1.6; I can SEE the urls with the anchor text appearing in the address window, and then, bam, i’m at the top of the page.

Hi guys,

I’m having a little trouble at my blog The Printed Matter. In particular I have a user trying to access it from Safari 4 on Mac OS X, but can’t get on it. He’s receiving a ‘server busy’ message, but oddly enough the site works fine for him on Firefox for Mac. I have no trouble accessing the site from either browser when logged out, so I’m having trouble trying to decipher what could be wrong? I was hoping any of you WP Wizards would know something that might help?

Rollovers in Safari 4

I’m using a rollover on this page on my site. When you roll over the two large images, they turn color. It works in Firefox, Camino, and (gasp) even IE. But it doesn’t work in Safari. When hovering over one of the images, Safari spits out the following error message in its console:

TypeError: Result of expression ‘image1’ [undefined] is not an object.

Can anyone tell me: is this just a bug, or is something wrong with my code? (I’m using Safari 4.0.2)

Safari 4 Issues

I’m having a terrible time all of a sudden with my admin pages and Safari 4 (on a Mac running Leopard).
A significant portion of the time, when executing commands, such as save draft, publish post, or merely selecting a page, such as edit posts or plugins, I get a blank browser window, with the URL in the address bar. It can take a random number of reloads to actually get the action to take, and sometimes I’m not able to be sure it has.
It also seems to be a problem with things like editing the widgets sidebar, though the problem looks different.
I have not noticed the problem with Firefox 2.x.
I am not sure if the issue is with Safari 4 or WordPress 2.8, as I upgraded both at about the same time.
Help!

Safari 4 text looks bad

Hi,
I just upgraded to Safari 4 (Mac user) and the text on my site looks awful. Bold and jagged. I’ve tried other WordPress sites and although it’s not as bad as my case the text still leaves a lot to be desired.
I had no problems visualizing it correctly in Safari 3
Any ideas?

Safari 4 breaks WP 2.7.1?

Downloaded Safari 4 and installed on two PC’s. One running Vista one on XP.

All appeared to be OK until I tried to add a link to a post. Instead of just the background window going dark the link entry window also goes dark and I cannot get the focus back on to it.

Get the same result on three blog sites all running WP2.7.1

Any thoughts?

Safari OSX Insert Link causes hang

When using the visual editor, if I click on the link icon having selected text, the pop-up box pops-up, the tab/screen darkens and that’s that. I have to kill the tab.

This is OSX Leopard and the latest version of Safari.

safari 4 not allowing font color changing?

I have been using safari 4 lately to try updating my wordpress blog. However, whenever I try to change the font color on a post, the color does not change, rather the font size gets smaller.

This does not happen on firefox or opera. It is only happening on safari 4 beta. I have even tried using tiny mce. However that did not work either.

Anyone have this issue?

I noticed today (and a google search confirmed it) that there’s at least one thing in WordPress 2.7.1 that breaks in the Safari 4 beta. The floating URL entry box in the story editor goes dark all over and you have to refresh the whole page to get it back. I had to switch to FF today after installing the Safari beta, just to finish posting a story with urls (didn’t feel like entering all that html).

WordPress 2.7 and Safari 4 Beta

Just a note, and I know that I’m working with the Safari beta, but have a look here: https://www.reyespoint.com/?p=1938.

The link interface in WordPress never fully loads in the new Safari beta.Window gets grayed-out and there’s no way to break out of it short of navigating away from the window.

Any thoughts?
