We just upgraded to Salient 15.0.3 and the Mega Menu is not working properly. We have reviewed the guide for this topic and verified that everything is correctly done as indicated in the guide.

Navigation Bar different colour

Hello,

I am using the Salient WordPress Theme.

The header is purple, but I need the navigation bar colour to be white background and black text throughout the whole line.Ideally, the text should be in the middle of this row too for symmetry. The section where the logo is can still be purple.

Can anyone help? There is no option in the Salient theme to set this, so wasn’t sure if it needed some custom CSS?

Just Getting a Spinning Circle on my site

Hi,
My site is no longer showing up. There is just a spinning circle on the home page. I have updated my theme and all of my plugins. The theme that I am using is Salient. I tried deactivating all the plugins and am pretty sure the problem is related to the plugin “Salient Visual Composer”. When I deactive this plugin my site shows up, but with all the formatting in HTML. Not sure how this happened or how to proceed. Any help would be much appreciated.

Videos not showing

Hello,

We have video posts but on amp version the embedded videos are not showing. What could be the issue?

We are using Salient theme, and they have custom template for embedded videos, which injects the embed code directly into the template.

As you can see on the non-amp version the video is showing but on the AMP only the featured image is showing.

Editing footer in salient theme

Hi,

I am trying to edit the footer but cannot find where to do it on my theme. The website is built using the salient theme.

When I enter the customiser I can only find how to edit my headers, but not my footer.

Any suggestions where the footer editor might live?

How to change picture on main page of Salient WP theme

I couldn’t find a Salient forum (all of the questions seemed to be directed to other groups – widgets, plugins etc.) so I am turning to the general forum. I told a friend of mine that it would be a five minute job to swap out the existing picture on her website main page with a new one. However, I can’t find where, in Salient, to remove the existing picture and insert the new one. I was expecting it to be a background picture but I couldn’t find where a background picture would be inserted into the theme. It is not embedded in the front page because the front page only contains text. It is in the framework somewhere, I just can’t figure out where. I have uploaded the new picture to the media library and I can see the old picture is there. To be clear, the picture I want to remove is of a family walking in the fall. I just can’t figure out where to go to make the switch. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

CSS override issues with salient theme in WP Adverts Add

Hi,

We are using salient theme for our website, theme was smooth and fine, but when used with WP ADVERTS ?plugin the css of theme is getting override by the plugins theme and making the front-end output worst and disabling few features like drop down selector and text areas etc mainly this issue occurring when forms used with salient theme. This plugins were performing well with other themes.

For WP ADVERTS plugin
? The text is overriding with the field label.
? Drop-down selector is not working?.
? ?Extra borders that makes page look worse.

?We are happy with WP Advert and we want to develop website with WP Adverts Plugin, so please help us to fix this problem.

I’ve trying to get help with the Salient theme and its Responsive Menu. I’ve posted on here but you guys have told me to go to their page .. so I’ve done that and gone to their Support page, and added my purchase code, but when I post it says ‘Refresh token not found’ and I’m getting nowhere, and slowly GOING OUT OF MY MIND!!! PLEASE HELP!

Problem:
My main nav aswell as the burger appears on my desktop page. I only want the main nav and then when it reaches its breaking point then i want the burger to appear.

(Nb the burger menu is a different menu – this is because i have done the main nav with icons then a
so they appear on a new line – so obviously on the small burger nav this looks stupid and too spacey)

Also because I couldn’t figure this out I downloaded the Responsive Menu plugin, but I couldn’t get this to work with the theme…

Burger should only be appearing past the breakpoint!

Responsive Menu plugin and Salient Theme – 2 x responsive menus showing

Salient theme responsive menu appears at the breakpoint, and then ontop of that a burger appears which is the Responsive Menu Plugin version (in block clours). I want to Plugin version Only to appear. In the plugin it says ‘Original Menu to Hide’ – and I’ve put ‘.sf-menu’ but maybe this is the wrong thing and that’s the problem…?
