The resolved this by restoring php handler for the site to php 5.2. and told me to “look into updating your theme” so it’s compatible with 5.6.

The only clue they gave was “Looks like sandbox is up to date, there might be something in the code or configuration that is causing the issue with the php version causing the site to only work correctly with php 5.2”
So, since the theme is no longer being updated, what do I do about this?
I’ve done a lot of customizations on the site, and switching to another theme would be a huge amount of work…
I really appreciate any help on this (I’m not very good at servers or php).

I run a blog using the Sandbox theme () and want to add a second sidebar to the right hand side of the webpage to help wrap the text of my posts and make them a bit easier to read. I’ve spent the past few days scouring the Internet to find a way to do this but without any luck. Can anyone suggest something?

I’m using the Sandbox theme. See the two lines in my footer? www.obsoletist.net
I’d like to move the top line (“Powered by WordPress & Sandbox”) so that it’s left-justified – basically, aligned with the sidebar. The bottom line is fine where it is for now.

Do I need to edit footer.php to do this? That’s how I edited the text in the first place. Or can I accomplish this in my child theme style.css?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I’m using the Sandbox theme on my site: obsoletist.net. I’ve created a child theme and made small modifications.

One thing I can’t figure out. In my footer, instead of what’s there now, I’d like to have two things.
Left-justified, I’d like to have “Powered by WordPress & Sandbox.”
Right-justified, I’d like to have this: “(?) obsoletist.”

The justifying I think I get; what I can’t figure out is how to add text. Can I even do that in my child style.css file, or do i need to edit footer.php in the theme itself?

Any help or points in the right direction are very much appreciated.

I’m using the sandbox theme (v1.6.1) and cannot figure out how to change the width of the sidebar. Have check the css stylesheet, the header.php, & the sidebar.php and cannot find the solution.
