Customise changes won’t stay after multisite migration

Hi,

I recently managed to do a migration of a multisite almost completely, with the editing of the database to the correct url and everything. As far as I can see The site is working perfectly except for that the Logo, Header Image and Menu location options are blank (as if I hadn’t entered anything there). Those things are however easy to fix in the Customise menu(all the images are still in the media library), so I started doing that. Everything looks fine while editing it and then I press Save & Publish. But when I reload the page the images and menus are gone again. It’s as if the changes were never changed… I’ve tried checking with a different browser and to clear the cache but it doesn’t work. Is there a possibility that the site doesn’t have proper permissions to the database or something? or can I have changed something in the wrong place in the database? (I think I only edited urls though)

Save & Publish wont work + Comments won’t be marked Spam

Hi,

I have developed this problem out of nowhere 2-3 weeks back and no it wasn’t immediately after I updated to 4.6.1. Two major symptoms:

1) Unable to mark comments as spam. It says its marked spam and Undo however if you refresh the page the comment is still there its gone nowhere. To workaround this though I can go to comments panel and select all and bulk move as spam and this works just fine.

2) Unable to Save & Publish theme customization. This is not specific to one theme – this is common throughout. I have disabled all my plugins in fact, I have deleted all of its content, renamed the folder and probably done all that I could with memory allocation related issues. Whatever is out there on the web I have tried.

Kind of stumped with this one here. Need help on this!

Theme customization save and pubish button not functioning…Help!

Ok, i’m stumped. when in the Storefront Theme and doing customizations it’s not allowing me to save. When i click on save and publish nothing happens. it’s like that button ceases to function. Any suggestions?

Save and Publish not working

After I go into appearance->Customize and make changes to the page, it will not save my changes. I click on save and publish, it spins next to it but doesn’t save my progress.

Any suggestions??

When I customise the theme, it won’t ‘Save & Publish’ I have edited the theme before but there’re a few more changes I need to make, it seems that no matter what it is I try and edit it won’t ‘Save & Publish’.

Can anybody help me sort the issue?

I have just started using the ZeroGravity theme. After customizing this theme, I click “save and publish.” Then, I return to my dashboard and I click on “view site” and it takes me back to my original, unedited theme. Even when I enter my web address into the web search bar, I still only see,the original, unedited theme. When, I go back to my dashboard and click “visit site” and then click “customize,” all the customized changes I’ve made earlier are still there. I try again by clicking “save and publish” and still no changes has been made when I go back to visit my site. This is crazy! What’s going on?

Working on my client his website, I been using Filezilla and phpmyadmin as host. Everything uploaded easily.

When I am busy in the ‘customize’ section everything changes smoothly and shows up. The problem is that I can not “Save & Publish” anything. When I click this button, none of my changes are saved.

I have tried:
– Deactivating/Deleting all Plugins
– Completely uninstalling and reinstalling WordPress
– Using different internet browsers
– Tried using multiple themes (still same problem)

Any suggestions?

I am trying to get the site up and running, but every time I try to save and publish nothing happens. I have no clue what to do. I am not at all tech savvy. Any ideas?

Large menu systems – problems saving

Tested by adding 100 menu items (thank you wp-cli!) on a testbed site (WP 4.3-alpha-32716), using Twenty Fifteen theme. I tried to manage the menu through the Customizer. I ran into some performance issues when I clicked the save and publish button. 5 minutes later (now 10 minutes) it still hasn’t saved my reordering and nesting changes.

From general usage standpoint, it’s not a bad experience and I can see why we’re committing resources to improving the Customizer and adding this functionality. That being said, I think we could have achieved greater medium-term gains by implementing improvements to the existing menu management system doing something similar to what the Nested Pages plugin does (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-nested-pages/).

Customizr v3.3.20 – Personalise Menu won't save and publish changes

Every time I try and and change a setting in the theme personalization menu of Customizr 3.3.20, it spins the loading wheel but doesn’t change state from save and publish to saved ? When i then try to exit it says the changes haven’t saved, are you sure you want to quit ? This is a pretty weird bug that only really happened since the latest updates. Not sure if it’s Customizr v3.3.20 or WP v4.2 ?
