]]>Using the Pro Version of Elementor.
I am building a website that is optimized for 1920px and lower (as standard), I’d want larger screen to switch to another subpage. Because of heavy content and WP Memory limit, I’d like people with larger screens to go to another page.
Any chance I could make a pop Up that only shows on screen resolutions higher / bigger than 1920px width, that says “Click to get to the U-HD version”?
How can I adress the PopUp only to show on 1921+px width?
Tried “display: none” with a CSS class to the popup and @media max-width 1920, but it still showed up on any screen size.
Long story short: How to make a pop up only appear on screen larger than 1920px width?
Thank you.
]]>I am using this plugin and is working fine on my laptop with adequate borders both on the left and the right (with standard 100% browser resolution). It is appearing okay even on mobile but when I access the site on a smaller laptop (with again 100% resolution), the post grid does not proportionately reduce and occupies the entire width and infact looks bigger and there are almost no borders left on either side.
In case there is any css code or solution for this, please help me out.
I am using OceanWP with elementor page builder.
Thanks
]]>I am working with OceanWP and am using Elementor page builder. I know of some plugins for responsive videos however I want to know if there is any plugin that allows me to have a full width video on my homepage but when I reduce my browser resolution the size of the video should reduce proportionately. Currently with Elementor, I am not able to do that as I have chosen full width in the section property of elementor. Only if I choose Boxed option am I able to reduce the width of the video with the screen resolution but using this option create white boundaries on both sides that I do not want.
Thanks

Can this be implemented?
]]>I have been meaning to ask you this for a long, long time but always delayed it till now.
I always have problems with my clients when I design their sites with Sydney because most of them have a different screen resolution to mine and when the visualize their websites they don’t look as they look on my PC (1920×1080). For example, where I see a row with an image on the right perfectly aligned with some text on the left, they see a smaller image and the text surpases the bottom margin (I hope I’m explaining myself well).
Is there any way to fix this at all?
And another question.
I’m aware that the most used resolution nowadays is 1366×768 but it seems the trend is for that resolution to be a little bit on the decline whereas 1920×1080 seems to be going up. Do you recommend I design websites based on clients resolution so that they are happy (although their users might not be); or do you recommend to keep using 1920×1080 which seems to be where most users will be going this year and beyond? Or, thirdly, do you recommend using 1366×768, the most used today?
Thanks for your assistance and patience!

A couple of days ago, on visiting my site, I noticed that the screen resolution had changed although everything else in my browser (Chrome) was fine. When I entered the admin to edit a post, I noticed that the available area for editing had considerably reduced. I don’t know why as I had not made any alterations to plugins at all.
Yesterday, the available edit space became even smaller and today, only about half the page was available for editing, the rest was taken up by the editing side bar on the right and the admin menu on the left. I am finding it very difficult to resize pictures because there is insufficient space to drag them out.
I phoned a friend and he tells me that he can see no problems for the site on his computer. The right amount of background was there and the actual Cobian Grid layout was fine. The same was appropriate for individual articles.
It seems that the problem is on my computer alone. Can anyone help?
]]>Complete newbie to Web Design and WordPress and have to say, loving WordPress. I have 1 niggle with my website – www.2411events.co.uk which is screen resolution.
To explain, I’m using the Sydney Theme and have uploaded images to use on the frontpage slider. My machine at home has a resolution of 1920×1080. When I run the site, the slider images are cropped at the bottom. If I reduce the browser window to something more akin to 1024×768 the images appear fine. On a mobile device they dont appear correct either.
I’m sure it’s something simple, just dont know what!
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks
