Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/whatever/public_html/wp-includes/compat.php’ (include_path=’/usr/lib/php:.:/usr/php4/lib/php:/usr/local/php4/lib/php’) in /home/whatever/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 238
I get that error when trying to access the administration panel or the published site.
I tried uploading and rewriting the wp-settings.php file but obviously that didn’t work.
Help!

I have a wp-config.php file and it’s sitting in the folder. I was told not to overwrite it.
I can’t think of a thing I did wrong. Oh, and BTW, my server has all the latest.
