So for some reason, months ago, I decided to try to get a search button (to search content) on my site at the top left of my website. I tried to do this using CSS or HTML code.

I’m not equipped to be doing this – LOL. I’ve since installed the Ivory Search plugin and it works beautifully, and I’ve resolved myself to the fact that I don’t need a search bar in the top left corner.

So now I’d like to remove the top left search button (for some weird reason it has an “sp” beside the field).

I’ve been poking around in the customize CSS area and can’t find the code and tried looking at the source code to see where it is. I can’t find it. I don’t know how I did that.

Any ideas on how to remove it? I’d greatly appreciate any help.

I added an Advanced Search widget in Elementor editing page. After I previewed the page and chose an item from the All Categories drop-down list, and then click the SEARCH button, there is response.

Can anyone help resolve this problem?

It’s a null reference exception in this line when the object get the focus because is null

I read in a post that this is a known issue with the old header/footer, and the advice was to switch to the new Header Footer Builder (HFB). Is this true? And if. How can I do it?

Re: the search block – it’s almost perfect but it doesn’t have the option to just have the magnifying glass icon instead of a button with the magnifying icon. When trying to fit it on a limited height bar at the top of the header, for instance, you’re forced to use a button which forces additional height, etc. due to forced padding/margins that don’t seem to be adjustable.
