Awesome plugin, but just spotted an error.

If we search our website and the search term is part of an article title, WP tries to highlight the term on the page. Its fine within the main results, but in the right sidebar the Recent Posts Extended widget show all the HTML on the screen like this:

General Overview of <span class="search-everything-highlight-color" style="background-color:yellow">Security</span> Standards and Information <span class="search-everything-highlight-color" style="background-color:yellow">Security</span> Programs

Is there a setting we can apply to stop this happening?

My client uses ZotPress on their website.
Everything worked well until this week. Now you cannot use the search bar. Even you can see for example “Simon” under the search bar (in the “A Laboratórium munkatársainak publikációi” section) as an author, If you type in Simon in the search bar, it says “No items found”

Can you please help me with that?

This works fine in WP 5.6 with ACF: Better Search version 3.6 which running on the site now.
But as soon as I update to version 3.7 I no longer get any search results.
I changed some settings to be more generic but that does not help. I no longer get any search results.

Any idea what I can do to get search results with version 3.7?

Notice: amp_is_available was called incorrectly. amp_is_available() (or amp_is_request(), formerly is_amp_endpoint()) was called too early and so it will not work properly. WordPress is currently doing the the_content hook. Calling this function before the wp action means it will not have access to WP_Query and the queried object to determine if it is an AMP response, thus neither the amp_skip_post() filter nor the AMP enabled toggle will be considered. It appears the plugin with slug jetpack is responsible; please contact the author. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. Can anyone help untangle this mess? Note: The plugin “AMP for WordPress” was recently uninstalled and replaced by the plugin “AMP”.

I’m using free version of AWS, it was working couple of days ago yesterday it stopped working after I’d changed some changes in CSS file in the theme.

I installed polylang some time ago and made a bilingual version of the website. I’m using a customised WP theme, and their support couldn’t help me with this issue and sent to this forum.

When polylang is active, search doesn’t work, returning (content isn’t here) for both of the languages versions.

I’ve read this thread https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wordpress-search-stop-working-after-activating-polylang?replies=9 , but seems to be that my issue is different.
I deactivated all other plugins, but this error stays the same.
