How do I set the web address so that people can find my website without typing https://www…blah, blah, blah?

Sometimes I have to copy the link off of my browser and email that which seems ludicrous?

Calendar Search not displaying all events

Hi, we had set up and using the plugin and so far everything has been working well. Then we just noticed that the search is not working properly. When searching for a keyword, in this case the name of a town, it is not showing all events that take place on that town. We double checked and there are at least 3 events on that town, but it only shows 1 event. That event that shows was built exactly the same as the other 2 not showing. Town name appears only on the Venue address in all 3 cases.

We’re puzzled and can’t find anything on the official (pro) forums or here. Does anyone know how to solve this? the Search function is very important for our website. Thank you!

Search not working!!

Ok Ive looked into theme issues, wp issues, every forum topic I could, tried different scripts and search plugins. Im at my wit’s end.

This is a big customer site thats live. Freedomplaza.com and (I believe) after I moved the site from a sub-directory the search option will now only search posts. Not pages.

I have to get this fixed ASAP. It could have been there before I moved the directory but I dont remember specifics.

Please help!

After the most recent update to 3.9.1
1)my search has stopped working
2)my lightbox on my product images stopped working

I have installed a plugin called Relevanssi to help my customers use the search function but its still not working, any help would be great.

I use Headway 3.6.3 as a theme.

This plugin works great except for one problem, the search function. When a client enters a category of shoe they are looking for, like boot or wedge, it brings up a list of those products with pictures perfectly. HOWEVER, if the customer then clicks on the thumbnail of something they want to buy, it takes them to a “Page Not Found” error message.

How do I get the plug in to either take them to the products page for that item so they can buy it or, ideally, have an “add to cart” option right inside the search results in order to allow them to buy?

How do I use this plugin so that when I search for posts on my site that each post shows an image?

Currently, only the first post in the results page shows an image, a very small thumbnail. Each uses featured images.

You can see my photography site and do a search for “man” and see what is happening.

Hi everyone,

Please take a look at this pdf, https://www.dropbox.com/s/4gmdzhzvyi9t31a/Search%20Problems.pdf, its a screenshot of a search I did on my wordpress site for the word “test”.

The 1st result is for a snippet of a page, and the 2nd is for a post.

The 1st result DOES NOT have a clickable link, while the 2nd result does.

Why? How can I make the first result also have a clickable link?

Getting images to show in search results!

Hi Everyone!

I have uploaded loads of images that I need people to be able to search for them via their title. We sell products online and need a gallery for them to be able to search and save the image for their own use.

Does anyone know how I can get my images to show in the search results?

This maybe due to me not knowing alot about blogging, but I can’t see my blog from the wordpress.com site. Is there something elsel I need to do, or to pay for in order for me to be able to see it? I do have a seperate host for my website im not sure if this is helpful or not. Any clues, or advise will be greatly appreciated!
