First search result parsed to featured image

When searching my site, first result is parsed as featured image and featured title in header. Does relevanssi have the option to add a placeholder image as featured image instead and some kind of hook for the search title? Example

Search: Jacket

New title: Search Results – Jacket

Or something along those lines?

Is it possible to show a title containing complete query string on results page?

Greetings

This is one of my most favorite plugins in wordpress repo, thank you for amazing creation, I would certainly upgrade to pro later on.

I want to show a title above search results which contains the query items so that user can have a better comprehension, for example , if user selected “Bedroom” and “Dining Room” as categories and combined it with “Solid Wood” and “Cheap” tags , then I want to display something like – Bedroom + Dining Room + Solid Wood + Cheap , as title of the results it will produce.

Is it possible ? if yes how ?

Hello there,

Excellent plug-in. I just wanted to see if it’s possible to make the whole search result a button/link to the same URL as the search title link.

Currently, if a user hovers over the search result or the address it highlights the marker in the map or if a user clicks on it again it highlights the marker on the map.

Is it possible to change the function of on click to direct to a URL just like the one on the search title? This would be a better user experience as the user has a bigger target to hit, the page title area is small.

Search Results- Include Post title?

When I conduct a search, I love the “highlighted word” feature, but the only way to open the post itself is to click on the date of the post. Is there a ways to edit my child theme search.php to include a clickable title post within each search result? I’m creating an historical archive site, and it needs to be as user-friendly as possible.

Search Bar Title Not Displaying

Hi. First a quick thank you for the nice, clean, theme. I’m a newbie and finding my way around it and liking it so far.

I am having a problem with the search bar. I can add the search bar widget to my footer or sidebar and it displays fine but I’ve entered a title for it and it doesn’t display. I’ve tried moving it, deleting and re-adding and haven’t been able to get it to work.

Strange Website Titles

I am getting weird website titles in Google search and I have no idea why.

Where it should just show as:

Isaan Tours | Experience the Real Thailand

I get the following:

“Isaan Tours | Experience the Real ThailandIsaan Tours …”

It appears to add the same string of words to the end of the website, page, post title. This is the same for three sites I use and the only plugin which I think could influence, across all of them, is Yoast WordPress SEO. Is there something simple I can do to correct this?

Is there anyway to let the search function on my site search only the post title rather than it’s content?

Remove Search Heading, but not function

I have both a search box at the top of my page, which I want to keep and a big Search heading on the sidebar that I would like to remove.
The Search in the sidebar is not a widget. I have searched this forum and the docs, but still can’t seem to find how to remove this title.

Search Exact Title or Phrase

I am looking to manipulate the search function on my site so that it will search only the exact post title. For example, right now when I search on “1 Nephi 1:1” it not only pulls up the post “1 Nephi 1:1” but it also pulls up “1 Nephi 1:10, 1 Nephi 1:11, 1 Nephi 1:12” and so on down the line. Is there a way to make the search function include ONLY the exact title?
